What bye the way would stop the Texas shooter from making a fertilizer bomb and killing every person in that church? You gonna ban ammonia, fertilizer and diesel fuel after you ban guns?
 
Homemade bombs have a higher potential for death than rifles do.... when car bombs go off in the middle-east.... the casualties can be in the hundreds..... with nowhere near the population density our US cities have.
