What should disqualify you from owning a gun?

you refuse to say how you would enforce your stupid registry in a country with millions more firearms and firearms owners: and a country where compliance with such laws is less than 25%

Am I missing anything else? If you want a license to drive a car, you need to pass a written test as well as a performance test. If you obtain too many DUIs, do not pay your parking tickets etc.. your license can be suspended. Shouldn't the same standard (to be honest it should be stricter) be applied to owning a firearm?

Anyone that is guilty of a felony. ~ I think only Felons that committed a Violent Crime.
Anyone that is guilty of a misdemeanor involving assault ~ I disagree with this, many assaults are silly push
Anyone that is not a U.S Citizen ~ Agreed
Anyone that has a medical prescription ~ Thats absurd, everyone has a prescription
Anyone that fails a mental health evaluation ~ Mental Health according to OBAMA was anyone with Anxiety, or ADD/ADHD or other. Its ridiculous and UnConstitutional

The age to buy and own guns should be 18. After all, you can get drafted at 18 and you can serve at 18 so you should be allowed to own guns at 18.
