Repealing the 2nd

Maybe because nearly 500 people were mowed down, over 50 of them shot dead, with one of those "rifles" in less than the time it takes to bake a pizza.

How many were actually shot? How many were "mowed down" by a 19 tonne white Renault rental truck in about the same time?

in some cases yes. ever watch someone die from incurable cancer or ALS? I certainly support the right of people in those situations to kill themselves efficiently and quickly.

Helium, hose, a bag and some zip ties.

more like 13 or so of those rifles

Interesting but depressing reading on suicide bags. It's certainly an alternative.

Far less messy for any survivors. There is a show on the web where a guy goes around cleaning blood and brains off of walls. Not very pleasant for the wife to find that when she comes home.

3000 people+ billions of dollars in real estate destroyed with box cutters. 87 dead by a cigarette lighter. In about the same length of time. Multiple more than 59 deaths by destroying airplanes in flight. 168 by a load of fertilizer in a van. This particular mass murder will barely make the top 10 list.

Seems like the weapon of choice is not the issue.

You do realize I was addressing your post concerning a particular incident and claiming it's all the guns fault. Now your new topic is murder - suicides. And with an unsourced multi colored graph at that?

Your "incident" was murder-suicide. So, why run from the fact that I blew your dumb argument out of the water?

Sure Calamity, that must be it.

That was it. You pretended that murder-suicide by gun was some rare event. In fact, just the opposite is true. Using guns is the leading method of murder-suicide.

Which means what?

You're making no sense at all.

I didn't mention murder suicide. I mentioned mass murders. Of the examples I gave, only 1 was a murder suicide.

The biggest one.

That is pretty much what repeal would do, as it should.

Voting does not cause 30K deaths a year. Irresponsible gun ownership does.

Most of those gun deaths are in the hood where they pay no attention to laws. What's your point?

Actually no. Most of those gun deaths are in homes, via suicides. You fail again.
