Women want more Gun Control

To even consider discussing solutions with someone, they must first be willing to read the actual data and not just spout out NRA talking points.

I did not post one iota of "anti-gun nonsense." I posted actual statistics of how women are overwhelmingly the murder victims from gun violence in homes with domestic abuse when guns are present.

and if guns are banned, that will help women how given even a 58 year old guy like me is more than a match for even a black belt 20 year old female. and a 20 year old street thug can easily kill almost any woman, even one armed with pepper spray or a stun gun.

Problem is most women are not being killed by 58 year old strangers or thugs on the street. They are being killed at home by loved ones with a gun. 64% of them, per my cited posts above.

Why do I always hear this kind of nonsense from the Right? "Eight-in-10 Americans told the pollsters they favor bans on assault weapons, high-capacity ammunition magazines and "bump stocks,". Eight-in-10 likewise said they favor a federal database to track all gun sales."

But as usual, the claim from the Right is that "they don't know what they're talking about"!

Same thing happens when you post real word statistics on gun violence. They ignore those and say, "B..b...but, my cousin once used a gun to save her life when a stranger tried to rape her."

No, your side lies by denying the fact that most women are killed by loved ones using guns in their own home. Rather, your NRA tribe deflects facts by using scare tactics of mean black men on the street---maybe a 1% real-world threat to your average white women who is being under assault from said loved ones.

Exactly, it ignored the real danger to women: domestic violence and guns in the home; but rather had a women stirring up fear via the false narrative of dangerous streets. Are you even paying attention to what is being argued in this thread?

According to CDC WISQARS data, the percentage of women murdered anywhere by anyone is only about 55%

So you think that taking away the gun is going to prevent domestic abuse? On average a man can easily kill a woman with his bare hands. If he reaches the point that he wants to kill her then taking away the gun isn't going to prevent any deaths, it will only shift the statistic to another tool.

They know it won't make a difference. It's about banning guns and nothing else. An unarmed, defenseless society is easier to control.
