House Dems propose bills to stop online ammo sales,[W 103]

This thread is not about you. I used you as an example, nothing more. So I am not going to get into a silly argument about your faux rage.

Thanks for playing.

these gun banners should spend more time actually pretending they care about innocent life and less time harassing lawful gun owners and ridiculing such people if they are to have any chance of convincing some of the more gullible posters that saving lives is what they want

That may be the worst walkback in the history of his forum.

But I did your homework for you. You may want to peruse this article:

What Happens to My Info When I Buy A Gun?

Lots of info there,

Did you even read it?

Although the information from your NICS transaction must be deleted after a relative short time period, the Form 4473 must be kept longer. It is required to stay with the FFL dealer for at least 20 years after the transaction.

It does not go to the government

The magazine ban makes no sense but I have no problem with ATF being notified of who is stockpiling guns. Just depends on what they do with that notification

40% of sales don't involve a dealer

But we know gun laws reduced gun deaths .....that has been proven over and over year in and year out

And yet states with lax gun laws have the most gun deaths.....year in and year out over and over again

No its not. The highest gun deaths are in places like Alaska, Montana and Louisiana which have very lax gun laws.

Lots of info there,

There is a list of your different arguments in this one thread.

We are done here as all of this has been debunked one hundred times over. A parrot could make better posts.

Now I agree the gun data is my opinion. I am however going of what I have seen and know from having a security clearance. So you can take it however you like.

Yes you gun banners should focus more on laws that save lives.

You are free to believe in whatever conspiracy theory you like. I deal in the facts

It has nothing to do with saving lives just big government controlling us. From the sheep's stand point being led is necessary.

I read it. The original statement from the poster was that the government already had the info on the purchase. They don't. The article agrees with me.

NICS must be deleted. Correct

Dealer keeps transaction records, Correct.

In order for LEO to access the records, they must go to ATF who has the original purchaser (generally dealer or distributor) from the manufacturer record.
LEO then contacts the dealer, who has the name of the original retail purchaser.

I think he believes that the NICS is not really deleted. Its some kind of conspiracy. Which is ridiculous

House Democrats have introduced a number of new gun control measures in the wake of a deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Among the proposals are HR.3962 to ban online ammunition sales, H.R. 4025 requiring gun dealers to report the sale of two or more rifles to the same person in a five-day period, and HR. 4052, which would ban magazines able to hold greater than 10 rounds.
- House Dems propose bills to stop online ammo sales, ban mags

So buying a crate of 7.62 x 39, or any other ammunition at wholesale online by the crate would get you reported to the government???? That is if it is even still legal???

This is ridicules. Millions of gun owners buy this much and more locally and online because we tend to go to the range a lot. This is total bullshit. If the Republicans know what's good for them they will not do this "bipartisan" crap on these.

Not going to worry much, I doubt any of these even come up for a full vote in either house.

As someone who identifies as a liberal, I think this is so ****ing stupid. Why do Democrats insist on trying to push these ridiculous gun control measures?

Stop it. You aren't helping anyone by trying to pass these stupid regulations.

Hush. This will really really help Dems in the midterms. No, seriously. *nudge nudge wink wink*

Its politics. But I agree they will never see a vote on the floor
