I'm not aware of any extra training requirements for judges and lawyers to carry. And police only qualify once or twice a year. That in no way indicate proficiency with firearms.
Virginia prosecutors are exempt by statute from having to obtain a concealed carry permit, and we can carry anywhere without one. The only requirement is winning an election or, in the case of an assistant, surviving the job interview process and being hired.
There is absolutely no firearm proficiency or safety training involved.
Judges are similarly exempt, and their only requirements are being appointed to the bench by the Legislature.
