Real talk on solutions to mass shooting

Why don't you put in your signature a direct quote where I supported a gun ban? Does this mean you can't? You are lying over and over

Well I dont fiercely oppose gun control. Im all for gun control that is smart and makes sense actually

As for your question, I dont know any specif law that exists or any that can possible be written to prevent tragedies like this in the future because its simply not possible.

That doesnt mean I dont support any new laws or better yet enforcing the ones we have though.

you have not come out and said directly "I VEGAS WANT GUN BANS


what you have said is the following

1) positive comments how the laws of ENGLAND, JAPAN and AUSTRALIA would KEEP US SAFE

2) you constantly whined about states with "lax gun laws" having higher rates of suicide. the states that you praise for having lower suicide rates are the ones with gun bans

3)you have a track record for constantly expanding your desired restrictions

a) first was all you wanted was a background check. you made 100s of posts saying ITS JUST A FORM

b) after several well educated posters noted that even the OBAMA DOJ noted such a check is worthless without complete (and unconstitutional and impossible) registration. so you jumped on that. then you later said you wanted Licenses to buy guns and ammo

c) and then finally, you gushed about REAL GUN CONTROL that of course is bans since after licenses and registration that is all that is left

so no you have not directly said you want gun bans but you have clearly praised them and since you constantly whine bout states without them and praise those that have gun bans, you are a gun banner

Yup, I've read that report. No biggie. When the mice get smarter then build better mouse traps. At some point, the mice find it so hard to survive that they move back to the fields and woods and out of your house. People still use locks in a world with lock picking tools and bolt cutters but each padlock still dissuades many casual thieves from stealing what is locked away. Using RF tagging, remote RF sensors and remote biometric identification to locate and connect guns to those who possess them would still get many guns, which are in illegal hands, off the streets and as the mouse traps improved, illegal guns would be harder and harder to possess. At some point it would become too difficult to carry guns illegally and the rewards of doing so would be far outweighed by the costs and aggro of doing so.

The next step would be to go to smart guns in order to limit non-owners from using guns to harm others and themselves. But initially identifying who in public spaces and publicly used private spaces possesses firearms and determining whether such possession is legal ownership would begin the process of getting illegal guns out of the hands of felons and would-be felons.

This would be a work in progress.

As I said. When law enforcement and our politicians protective services adopt the technology then I will consider it. (Good luck with that...)
