The Market and the gun banners

Absolutely, you can always count on guns selling a lot right after a shooting or during a Democratic administration. There is a reason why there is so much paranoia in gun magazines. It is a proven sales tactic. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that most gun manufacturers vote Democrat.

Gotta get that toy before some meanieface Democrat decides it's too dangerous!

your attitude helps sell lots of guns and related items

The gun nuts buy them and then blame us

bannerrhoid politicians try to ban stuff-people don't wait around until its too late. Glock 17 magazines in mid 1994-15 dollars

after the clinton gun ban=100 dollars

Fear sells and gun nuts live in fear

bannerrhoid politicians and their squawking parrots are the ones that sell guns. If the anti gun democrats didn't have a hard on for gun bans immediately after every massacre, the run on guns wouldn't happen. Your goddess, Hillary, couldn't wait for the bodies to get cold before she started voiding anti gun idiocy all over the press

The upside is the stocks and sales will rise.

The downside is prices go up and availability goes down.

I don't know if they can ban them. its a childish response anyway and is indicative of poor reasoning skills and hysterical luck of judgment

They won't be able to ban anything. They may try to outlaw the bumpers, but my bet is it fails.

The ATF under the Obama administration ruled they are perfectly legal

an automatic weapon is one that fires more round with a SINGLE PULL OF THE TRIGGER. that is why I can build a fully functioning GATLING GUN and its not banned. Now if i put an electric motor on it so one push of a button causes multiple shots-thats different but a manual crank is fine. bump fire doesn't change the fact that you only get one shot per pull of the trigger.

I suppose if that is at the top of the latest to "ban" list then they are going to be considered investment grade since they will likely be "grandfathered" in. I know little about them and don't own a scary black rifle but wonder why they are considered useful.

a bump stock has a shift on it so as you apply pressure it uses the recoil to push the trigger into your finger again.
it can simulate a automatic rifle but it isn't an automatic rifle. as soon as you let off the pressure or if you don't do it right
it stops firing. the ATF has ruled that it doesn't modify the firing mechanism so they are legal.

it is nothing more than a toy for gun enthusiasts to have. it is as close they will get to an automatic rifle without having the huge expense.
you can lock it in place so it doesn't slide if you want to take single shots.

Before they can even get to the point that they think they have adequately written a definition of what they want to ban, someone will have designed a workaround.

Those trigger cranks (whatever they're really called) will also turn a semi-auto into a gatling gun.

they aren't that dangerous. if you want to waste ammo then they are novelty but other than that they are not that interesting to own.
99.9% of the people that own them are perfectly fine.

knee jerk reactions are knee jerk reactions.

That's why I like the idea of the place in Vegas that has all the different guns you can try. For fun. I'd love to go there.

It's fun to try out different guns, I shot my tenant's .50 cal S&W short barrel revolver and it was fun. Also expensive, about $1.50/bullet.

So yeah...fun for a bit but a waste of ammo overall IMO. That's why that range in Vegas sounds cool.

yep they have everything under the sun there from semi to full auto.

When I bought an AR from a friend they had a bump stock as part of accessories. It was a fun but took a few mags to figure out, it not as essay as the YouTube videos make it out. That barrel gets hot quick and jumps all over
