But I thought registration works.

it works exactly as people like vegas intend it to work. To harass and impose stupid costs on honest gun owners. that is why so many gun banners support registration. As a crime control tool-what sort of person pretends a law that cannot even be used to punish criminals should be applied to honest citizens?

What happened to Obamas taking our guns?
There's more than ever for our paranoid pantywaists

I guess you missed the election 10 months ago-Obama is no longer the president. Try to pay attention to current events so your posts won't look so out of date by missing a major change in US government.

It reduces gun violence. It works great

Hard to pull that out exactly but it likely is a factor

Please explain how its likely when it hasn;t even stopped criminals from using handguns as the preferred weapon to commit crime?

or why Hawaii has not been able to find one crime solved by Registration. Or why canada scrapped registration for longguns which are used in far less crime than Handguns which are still registered

One way to prove at least correlation is to show the gun death rates before and after the registry. But even so, why make it harder for law abiding citizens to own firearms based upon flimsy evidence that said law would work?

There are many many many other factors involved as well

Can you at least give evidence to what I asked, or are you going to continue to dodge and deflect?

The evidence you ask for will not show a complete picture and could be misleading

A misleading step. But there are studies on registration

yes there are, registration is a failure in Hawaii, a failure in Maryland, and a waste of money in Canada. its proven useless in California as well

It works great in Canada for handguns!

It works great in Canada for handguns!

well if that was TRUE, handguns would not be the weapon of choice for criminals in Canada-it would be long guns that aren't registered. But that is not the case. Handguns are the weapon of choice in Canada proving that it doesn't WORK GREAT. in fact the actual evidence suggests the exact opposite. But its funny how you have to cite canada because registration has been an even BIGGER failure in the US of A

It works great in Canada! They are keeping that program because it works

it works exactly as they want it to. the canadian government is much like Britain's. they don't like the subjects having handguns, SO they pass silly laws harassing handgun owners. They couldn't keep up the charade against long guns But its a failure

Wrong. Lots of people have guns in Canada. You are just wrong again

non responsive-the gun registration system in canada is a proven failure.

Failure is seen in states like Alaska. The model for people like TurtleDude. Suicide, gun violence, and death.

So then Japan and South Korea also have that failure? Their intentional death rate significantly exceeds that of the US.
