Why Gun control-as crime control-fails

for those who buy into the fecal nonsense that "its just a form"

It is easy to see how judicial progressivism fails to uphold laws intended to protect its citizenry, and in doing so, exposes the hypocrisy of reliance on such gun laws. Releasing offenders back to the street breeds contempt for the law and causes increased crime as recidivist criminals are the gun suppliers and killers. Not the National Rifle Association, not law-abiding gun owners, nor “lax gun control laws.” Banning guns fails consistently. Violent criminals and those who provide crime guns must be banned from society by incarcerating them for a long time. In doing so, laws protect society. Remove the criminal, prevent the crime.

his pathetic arguments are exactly what that article addresses. pushing laws that are guaranteed to fail so they can push for another restriction, then another and so forth

It prevents many deaths just like traffic laws prevent deaths.

Your Passport application is "just a form".

There are many forms that are more than "just a form".

It puts a barrier up to a criminal getting a gun and stops many of them from getting one.

much like a passport puts a barrier up to ensure certain people don't get in. Neither works perfectly.....but it does help

It is already a felony to straw purchase and provide guns to felons.

HOW is this form going to prevent criminals from getting guns?

They are stopped at the point of sale.

Is there a way around it....sure. We need to plug those holes too
