Perhaps interestingly a man named Kellermann who may be familiar to some posters here published a study about the risk of getting murdered. In that report of murder victims he found that:
73% of households with a homicide victim has a member who drank.
63% of victims drank.
25% of households had a problem with a member drinking, four times that of the control group.
25% of the case group had physical fights in the house while drinking, seven times that of the control group.
7.6% of the case group had been hospitalized because of drinking, fifteen times that of the control group.

Maybe alcohol is a risk factor after all.
Unlike flogger and, to some extent, Vegas, I am a personal responsibility advocate.
