Its Just a FORM nonsense

New California ?assault weapon? regs approved, lawsuits promised
Under the rules, those in the state who have firearms that meet the expanded definitions of an assault weapon will have until July 2018 to register their guns through the California Firearms Application Reporting System, with a mandatory $15 fee per registration. Those submitting applications will have to upload digital photos of the firearm including of the magazine release, of each side of the receiver and of the barrel. Hobbyists who craft their own firearms will have to apply for a serial number through the system before completing their gun.
However, the website for the system states the ability to register is not yet available.

This is what happens when you pretend that all those assholes in office want is "just a form" or just "reasonable laws"

hopefully some Trump judges squash this crap


remember criminals cannot be prosecuted for failing to follow these idiotic laws

Registration is the first step toward confiscation.

With the increased push by the progressive-left to institute SJW laws that limit free speech, freedom of choice, support invasion of privacy, and security over liberty...it is inevitable that in the name of "safety" they will disarm anyone who would try to oppose them.

its just so obvious that people who own firearms and who have records are not going to comply with this crap and cannot be prosecuted for failing to comply with it. I wish every single gun owner in California just says no. and then see what the assholes who push this crap do.

Agreed. A simple form to register an assault weapon.

This a fairly common sense request and will likely lead to more safety. I live in a state that charges firearms and ammunition and I am 100% for it.

what are you for-harassing gun owners or pretending such laws actually deter criminals?

do you really think criminals who already violate federal laws by owning guns are going to do this?

I pray for the gun nuts that want to do nothing about killers going into our schools and community shooting up innocent people. They were able to do so based on lax gun laws. Any reasonable laws that make it harder to kill people, I am all for.

Gun ownership requires responsiblity. If you drive a car, you need to get it registered, insured, etc. This has nothing to with harrassing anyone.

I fully support a $25 per gun and a two cent to five cent tax per round of ammunition. Gun nuts want assault weapons to be readily available like books or groceries.

Please explain to me how registration in any form will, or even might, save a life. Tracing doesn't happen until AFTER a crime has been committed...unless someone decides that mere ownership of a registered firearm is a criminal act.

He's hiding in his shell. Reasonable gun control policies are good. Now, unrestricted access to guns, like some of these pro 2nd amendments want, is dangerous.

We live in the United States, not Dubrovnik. This isn't Game of Thrones.

that might be more idiotic than the stuff I see from "the its just a form"

what is an assault weapon. five bucks says you have no clue.

a box of 22 rim fire shells costs 5c a round. You want to double the cost which only affects people who use the stuff legally

like target shooters. and all that stupid law does is drive businesses out of the idiotic city that passed it.

You either are unable to understand how criminals operate or you are just pretending you want to do something useful
