As I'm guessing you all know, the liberals have once again waged war on the Constitution of the United States, proposing ratification to the 2nd Amendment. The amendment giving Americans the right to bear arms. I personally think that this whole stance by the left is a bunch of bull crap. The left likes to argue that because guns cause the most harm and because their the most dangerous thing on the planet, that they should be banned and taken by the government. First let me just show you some common sense on how this "Gun Control" thing won't work. If you have a criminal with a gun, who got it to hurt people, and a citizen with a gun, who got it to protect himself from the criminals, and the government tells everyone to turn in their guns right away because its a new law, obviously the citizen will turn in his gun, but do you really think that if you ask really nicely, the criminal will turn in his gun too? No! And now, the citizen is left defenseless to the criminal. Left wingers have to understand what impact their laws will have, how will it work, and who will listen. If liberals really want something to go after for the death of Americans, they should be going after abortion. Abortion has been the leading cause of death in the United States for years. I wont get into that topic right now because that's an entire other topic, but just this year so far, about 8,000 people have died from gun violence(according to the Gun Violence Archive[GVA]), and 630,000 people have died from abortion. These claims by the left that guns are the worst thing on this face of the earth is absolutely false. The Constitution clearly gives the right for any American citizen to go out and get their own gun. Right now, at this time in America, we have to focus on upholding the Constitution, not ripping it apart.
