National Voter Registry vs Gun Registry

Not a riddle at all. The right to keep and bear has no restrictions, or "shall not be infringed."

The right to vote, or run for certain public office, has restrictions. Age, citizenship, in certain cases felonies. For this reason we need to make certain voters meet those requirements.

Additionally shall not be infringed allows me to own 1 or 100, or no, guns.

Voters legally get one vote each.

Glad I could help.

All felons cannot own firearms.

No, it is not.

All weapons are tools. Tools are what humans create to deal with a world filled with competitors who have claws, fangs, stings, and other natural defenses. More so against other humans.

That is our gift, the ability to create and then use tools.

It is our natural capability; and if some humans can use guns to enforce their will on us, it is only natural for an individual to expect access to the same tools to defend themselves from such oppression.

If ray guns become the new weapons, then we as individuals would have the natural right to obtain and utilize ray guns.

The right is self-defense, and access to the same tools humans create that can be used for this purpose.

Here is a what if scenario:

What if someone developed a device capable of nullifying the usefulness of firearms--- in this case a magnetic repulsed device capable of deflecting bullets or slowing their velocity to a point that the bullets are rendered useless.

If the government was the only entity capable of using this magnetic device, Would supporters of the second amendment consider the existence of this magnetic device a infringement on the right to bear arms? Would they attempt to lobby congress in order to bar any development of this device?

Off topic. Please start a new thread on this what-if.

So back to the topic, which appears to be about Trumps investigation into voter fraud and a conspiracy idea that the purpose is to identify political enemies and/or suppress them. And not about guns at all. Maybe this should be moved to the proper forum, in that case.

And furthermore, if no voter registration, how do you ensure only eligible people vote?

Nope.

We would simply keep our other weapons while lobbying Congress to insure we have this "defensive" tool as well.

Failing that? Break the law and obtain them anyway, since by that time our government will have been proven to oppose individual rights and liberties.

You're right, it's Humiliating to lose to a Moron, I'm sure all those Republican Candidates feel the same. It's Humiliating to see a Idiot who can't even string together a sentence that true. It's Humiliating to see how Show Clown suckered so much of the ignorant by telling them what they wanted to hear. It has to be Humiliating knowing that you Voted for the worse President in United States History.

As for me, I'm doing just great, I'm set with a booming economy right at the time I need to recoup all the loses from the Bush Administration. I'm retiring early and my Health is great, and my assets are at their peek.

 Thank God there was a Barack Obama
That is any politician trying to get elected regardless of party. Tell the people what they want to hear.

Dude ... I live in Illinois, I have plenty of Guns and I have a CCW License ... and I'm not afraid of Ghost :2razz:

How would my Voting prevent me from having a Gun .... ALL MY GUNS ARE REGISTERED ... and I'm buying more.

Next boogieman excuse please. :doh
When those elected officials in Illinois decide that your firearms meet their definition of "assault weapon" or "High capacity" and decide to confiscate your guns. You will have no one to blame but yourself for voting for anti-2nd amendment scum when they send letters or go knocking on your door for you to send in your guns. The fact you claim to be pro-2nd amendment and vote for anti-2nd amendment politicians and you seem to have no problem with firearm registrations, waiting periods, and firearm permits proves you are not pro-2nd amendment. Also prove that if you are genuinely pro-2nd amendment then you do indeed vote against your interests.
