The video is pretty blatant. In fact, it looks like Nazi propaganda. All that's missing are rats and Jewish people with hooked noses. Interesting that the NRA has become an "us verses them" organization. So much for just being pro gun rights. Now, they're the "lets bash anyone not like us" organization.

Oh, and "let's stoke some violence while we're at it."

This NRA ad is basically a call for civil war – DeadState

The upside? A few NRA members with a brain recognize this for what it is.

The NRA seems to have, once again, let the idiots and hotheads run the show. We'll see how long it takes for them to figure out how idiotic that is.
 
This is why I'm very careful when I engage in discussing the 2A. I am pro 2A, but not a gun owner, and not really pro NRA.

Because, every now and then, they go bat **** crazy. And I don't want to be guilty by association, lol.

That's why I am not affiliated with any Party or interest group. Hell, even the cycling group I belonged to years ago went bat**** with their insistence that we "take the lane" on busy roads. I'm like, "You guys are nuts. I'm staying over to the right."

That advert is pretty bad. It's definitely not going to do any favors towards helping the division in our country.

Clenched fist of truth, lol? Her tone. The entire video was designed to insight anger. And it's from the NRA, lol. So, they're riling people up, talking about clenched fists, violence, etc.

That was a video that, whether intended or not, was a call for eye for an eye style violence.
 
I consider liberals my enemies, so yes, it is a us v. them situation. They need to go and I'm uninterested in being overly picky as to how that is done.
 
I live about 45 miles west of Chicago not too far from where the pavement ends and the Corn begins ... and I go to a few Kane County Gun shows. I have to admit ... some of people that live and breathe NRA, look a little strange and unsavory. They are the reason why I carry a Gun; I'm not worried about any Chicago Inner City Thug, or a Mexican or Muslim Immigrant.

I came out of show last week and there were several Big Dues checking out my Corvette. So a casually snuck up on them and asked, hay you Boys what to checkout whats under the hood? :mrgreen:

:2razz: They damnear pissed their pants when they saw two Bothers rolling up on them.

But they turned out to be some Cool Dudes ;)

It's a figure of speech, meaning "aggressive truth."
