that popped up on FB today. From what I understand, this stuff still goes on. It seemed to me that the victims of such nonsense were usually black. Why do you try to make this racial-is it because you don't have any other argument or is it because you are defending the people who do this sort of "game"?

and when you call guns surrogate penises you pretty much prove your position on the topic is just plain idiotic nonsense. Do you dislike people owning guns because you don't like their perceived politics or do you see honest citizens being armed as a threat to you?

the only racism I see on this thread is from you. do you hate white people? are you upset when white citizens shoot black mopes? I have seen that anti gun logic before-white people want guns to protect themselves from black thugs and that is "racism". the victim in the matter I posted, I assumed was black as well. Some of the victims of that "knockout game" were black. why did you dishonestly try to inject race into this thread when it no relevance.

do you oppose people being able to carry concealed weapons?

I already shot a mope years ago. one was enough, I hope not to have to do it again.

From the videos it looks as though a gun would not do you much good in most cases. Having a gun is not much protection from someone coming up behind you and knocking you out.

However if the person with you has a gun now that is another story. Of course shooting someone running away is not a great idea in most cases. From what I watched there seems to be the blindsided strike then the coward runs for his life.

in most jurisdictions you would be cleared for shooting someone who violently assaults another. especially if it was a family member that was assaulted. and lots of those cases, the person doesn't quite knock the victim down and hopefully more victims would shoot their attackers, be it muggings, car jackings, attempted rapes or this game.

you are being dishonest here. we get anti gun posters claiming there is no need for people to carry guns or in some cases, even own them. This was a lesson why people should be able to carry. Race had nothing to do with it but you tried to derail the thread with your bogus charges of racism.

I hope you are right. From what I have read on this board there are a lot of people who support criminal behavior over law abiding.

You know TD is a lot of things and he does have some weird idea's about race at times, he however is NOT a race-baiter or racist, period. His sole motivation was about conceal carry and self defense, that is who he is. If it's about guns he is there. It had nothing at all to do with race.
 
Huh...so, shooting someone is now an appropriate punishment for an assault? If your goal was to change minds on the anti-gun side, I'm not sure you're going to change any minds with this one. A real tough guy would have punched back...guns vs. fists is a coward's game. Both the puncher and the shooter are criminals.
