Gun Control demonstration by Kurdish Anti Terror Team ( CT UNIT Kurdistan)

Nice shot group!

The guy with the first shot down range wins the fight! Sweet shooting!

Practice makes perfect.

perfect practice makes perfect. Poor practice reinforces bad habits and are often harder to overcome and will underperform someone who is new being trained for the first time

Both of your posts in this thread are, as usual, accurate.

However, the tone sounds just like they were written by my mother-in-law, who finds at least a minor fault with every statement I've ever made and every action I've ever performed. I could say that the sky is blue, and she'd say "Not when it's cloudy." I could say that grass is green, and she'd say "Not in the winter." And, she has. Both of them.

That's TurtleDude. The mother-in-law of DP.

their skill level was pretty good. A B Level USPSA shooter is a high standard.

Wow. Pure skill.

It's a reload drill. Practicing reloads is just as important as any other part of shooting.

Sure it is. They way we practice it and I was trained to to empty the mag. Training for a two-shot drop doesn't seem to have any practical application in the field to me.

Really, let's say you stop one threat but aren't sure if another threat isn't right around the corner. Do you reload when you have the chance or do you wait until you're engaged with another target? My preference is option #1.

I don't know about law enforcement but in the military you reload when you can. But another element to this is it allows them to train reloading without using up as much ammunition. We don't know what their budget is. :)

ever watch Eric Grauffel shoot? This is the guy who most consider the best speed/combat shooter in history. He won a bunch of world open titles (with a electronic sighted pistol) and then switched to stock and won again

exactly-its what I did when I was seriously training

Impressive. What are the refs running immediately behind him holding up? Cameras?

BTW if you want to see some more speed-Rob Vogel is the best shooter in Ohio currently. He has won world championships though I'd say Eric is slightly better. Taran is one of the top 3G shooters in the world

that is a shot clock that records the time for each shot. scoring is generally based on the score divided by the time. in the second video I just posted, you can see them using such a device

That's awesome. Have you seen the videos of Keanu Reeves training for the John Wick films? It's rare that an actor will put it that work to make it authentic. His trainer was someone named Taran Butler. Ring any bells?
