Ma'am, your son was shot because that's what criminal deserve and get when they try to rob free people, lead poisoning. I'm sorry you lost your son, but it's his own damned fault he's dead.

Shot in the head, so it was personal..... Yups as we are all so accurate to shoot a gun/knife/blunt object out of someones hand or shoot them in the right pinky toe..........

They were shot, doesnt matter in the foot, @$$, head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes.......they were committing a crime. Guess what..... if the person didnt commit the crime likely they would not have been shot.... How about that....

I think it's the end result of entitlement culture. No one in their right mind wants to take a life, but at the same time there are consequences to those who endanger innocents' lives. I think that there are people who are not used to accountability and can't understand that their little criminal paid a price for his actions, choosing rather to put their son's life above those of the intended victims.

I would suspect society would lose nothing if someone capped the dead mope's cretinous parents: their attitude explains why their worm bait kid ended up being a scumbag that in Texas "would just need killing"

a head shot was a good choice-the asshole won't ever try to rob other people.

bet you big bucks if the mope had killed an employee for not complying with the mope's orders, the parents of the mope would be making an excuse for the killing

The perp had a gun. I didn't see that in the other story.

Maybe the mother of the dead perp should be asking why her son had a gun and was using it to rob people.

I recall this incident being discussed when it happened a few months ago. IIRC the mother of the worm bait was whining that her son expected no resistance because the business apparently had a no gun policy for its employees and worm bait thought he would not encounter lethal resistance

oh well-sort of reminds me of what my late great uncle told me;. He was a merchant marine captain running arms to the Russians, the Dutch and Danish resistance (he was knighted by Queen Wilhelmina for his actions) . in the first years of the war-both before the USA's official entrance and after December 1941 American Merchant marine convoys had very little protection in terms of escorts-something the German U-Boats knew. So the merchant marine captains would put some merchant ships on the edge of the convoy that carried hidden heavy machine guns or 40MM cannon and when the Uboats surfaced to launch torpedo or cannon attacks, the gun boats would shred them with automatic weapons fire.

I agree, it is everyone else at fault with these types of folks for some reason, realistically there is one person at fault.....and he will never do it again.

There was another story out of New Jersey, another attempted armed robbery by a career criminal and prohibited person. The perp pulled a weapon and the clerk was packing too, the criminal's last words were "Wait! You're not supposed to have a.........".
