Was gun control a deciding factor in the 2016 election?

Did gun control ultimately decide the 2016 election?

Poll is incomplete. It factored, but not anywhere near as much as the wider implications of Supreme Court Justice picks, cabinet-level administrative rules, and legislative influence in general did.

If guns were so important in the campaign, why were they rarely used as a cudgel by Trump IN THE CAMPAIGN?

Wishful thinking by Republicans justifying their vote for man with heterodox viewpoints on their ticket.

Nope, it was the Rust Belt Rebellion that did Hillary in.

maybe so but there was no way he was going to win the Dem nomination where Hillary was considered "too conservative" by tons of the Sandernistas

True dat. She was already the chosen one.

With how close it was in various states, anything could have been "the" issue. "Basket of deplorables" could have been "the" issue. Her frequent bouts of collapsing and questionable physical health could have been "the" issue.

But, ultimately, "the" issue was mostly her corruption in combination with the Democratic primaries was probably the biggest factor.

Yeah, I can agree with you on Hillary. Besides here, there were so many issues that inspired a lot of people to vote the way that they did.

I am actually; I just don't pray to my guns.

No, you demonstrably are not. That you think you are is.... kind of disturbing actually.

May not of cost her the election, but it did cost her millions of votes. Meaning, there are a ton of single issue voters that simply vote on the second amendment.

Nope: you are demonstrably wrong in your perception.
