Nope. We see guns used daily to cause harm to people. Guns were designed as weapons to kill other human beings... we see this happening far too often today.

Not at all. If shooting a gun at a target isn't peaceful, then using a knife to cut a piece of meat is positively violent.

How is talking about very real issues like this an act of exploitation?

It is incidents like this, lack of safety, that lead to a discussion of gun safety... right?

we played lawn darts

we rode bicycles without helmets

we played tackle football after Church on sundays-some of us had helmets, some didn't

we had bb guns

we jumped on trampolines that didn't have nets surrounding them

we rode skateboards without dressing up like Sir Lancelot

we carried pocket knives in high school
