What is your current carry gun?

I have loaded nines with

231
AA 5 and 7
HP-38 (same as 231)
Clays
Bullseye

and Now I am using tite-group which is my favorite for 9mm. I load about 3.7 grains. for 147 probably a slight bit lighter

It's more expensive, but I've been using VV N320 for 147s, about 3.4 grains. I'll likely drop it a bit to see of the lead bullets get pushed as hard with less powder.

Kimber Ultra Eclipse ii, custom worked by Wilson Combat, Simonich Gunner Grips, and Tripp Research Cobra Magazines.

I carry a .380 Sig P230 in the summer

9mm Walther PPS is going to be my new spring and fall replacing the Kel Tech PF9 that was too small for my hand.

Kahr PM45 in winter

I just walk around pointing it at people; they leave me alone.

I almost never carry when not working, but at my family's ranch in the Sierra foothills, which is huge, and has both a population of wild pigs that have seriously injured some workers and visits by copper and metal thieves from gangs in the San Joaquim Valley, I always have a Freedom Arms Model 83 .41 Rem Mag w/a 7 1/2".

I don't have to quick draw on anyone, so that's not a factor, it's big, heavy and accurate as all hell, I can kill pigs from the cabin of a vehicle w/out busting eardrums and the only time I've ever gone guns-up on anyone with it, the intimidation factor was like something out of a 70s cop movie.

It was a gift from a relative. I never would have bought something like this, totally impractical for urban use, but I'm happy to point at things that need pointing at.

Still, that kind of money for a damned revolver is just stupid.

Oh, no, no, no. I've wanted one for years, my biggest hangup is what caliber do I really want it in, cause I'm only going to buy one.

The only time I carry is when I'm in the woods hiking and this comes with me in 44 special.

If I felt the need around town I suppose I'd throw my SP101 (.357) in a coat pocket.

If only MD wasn't a May Issue state...

I only carry keychain pepperspray, sometimes a pocket knife and if I have my bag a stun gun.

hopefully, Trump judges will strike down "may issue" states as violating several constitutional provisions

have you done anything to it? some of the stock series 70s Colts don't feed hollow points well. other than my grandfather's WWI Issue Colt, all of my 1911s have beavertail grip safeties.

Mine is still stock. I would like to get black grips for it so it will be invisible while hanging over my handle bars.

It loads hollow points just fine as long as I use my 7 or 8 shot magazines. I think that my 15 shot mags loose spring strength if left fully loaded. The 4th or 5th bullet will need my finger to coax it into position. Those are third party mags, so that may be the problem. They work fine if I wait and load them before heading to the range.

Yes, it's a 'sure-grip' safety.

hanging off of handle bars? WTF

I have never found any 15 round magazines that work well

however, the Chip McCormick (CMC) 10 round magazines work really well and that is what I use to shoot USPSA Limited 10 and some 1911 Steel division matches with

Yeah, kids aren't supposed to be carrying guns around because parents will sue.

over kids pointing fingers as if they are guns?

A lot of 1911's don't handle hollow points well. My kimber was one until I had it worked by Wilson Combat.

Carry in the wood so no one can see you have a Ruger on you.

Yeah, kids aren't supposed to be carrying guns around because parents will sue.

With the degree of unnatural paranoia schools exhibit they are afraid somebody will sue after passing out at the sight of a gun or finger in mock imitation.

Lots of sick people out there who should not be having children

most of the problems in America could be lessened if those who cannot care properly for children would stop breeding
