I was surprised with the lack of revolvers. For many they are the best choice. These 10 are all good, I own several of them including the SW Shield, Bodyguard, SIG 938 and 238 and the Glock 19

My wife first bought the LC9, but we hated the trigger. She really like the Sig, but I didn't feel that she had enough experience with cocked and locked to be safe carrying it. She felt the Shield was too big for her and she ended up the the 43. One of my female friends fell in love with my Apex trigger Shield and recently bought to augment her compact CZ 75. She was a kidnap victim once and doesn't care to repeat the experience.

my wife collects the 238 SIGS. I bought a Dillon Square Deal to churn out 380s-I can load a thousand FMJ for 105 dollars. I have one myself but I prefer my 938 in 9mm. I have a bodyguard I carry for deep cover. The Glock 19 is one of the most versatile pistols on the market. The shield is a great gun. I don' have the small Glocks but I like them too,

Her 43 shoots low. I need to either replace the front sight or the rear sight. We stuck with all 9mm so I can just make minor adjustments on the 550b for 147s or 124s.

147s will print higher almost always

I bought a .380 and sorry I did. Going next week to buy a .38 revolver.

Colt is going to start selling a new version of the Cobra later this year.

Many Gun Stores and Instructors push many away from Revolvers since they considered them obsolete. (100% revolver guy here). Got my mom her first gun last year and got her the SW MP .380 bodyguard. A good little semi-auto.

why Maggie: with modern ammo a 380 is fine for self defense. the most important thing is that you are comfortable shooting the pistol and you can shoot it accurately.

I hope this is the beginning of Colt bring back all their snake line revolvers again.

as a former PPC 60X shooter I can tell you something most serious revolver shooters know. No brand of revolver can match the action of a Smith and Wesson.

Why is that? .380 is good, my mom has a .380 auto and loves it.

Colt Python?

Colt Python?

nope-indeed a popular modification in the early days of PPC was a SMYTHON which was a Python barrel (excellent accuracy) fitted to a smith Model 10 or 19 because the action of the smith was better. once the heavy Aftermarking barrels and ribs came along the SMYTHON conversion went the way of the DODO bird

The grip is too small. I practice with it a few times a month, but still not comfortable with the grip. Makes me want to shoot with one hand. A horrible idea. And every once in a while, I limp wrist it and jam the slide. I'm not accurate at much more than 25 feet, which is fine for my house, but still, when I had my Taurus, I was much more comfortable.

I'm pretty happy with my Ruger SP101. Polished the internals and changed the springs. Smooth as butter.

You can get extended grip magazines for them.

Here is my New revolver I just bought yesterday. A SW Model 69 L-Frame .44 mag.

Yeah, I did that. Just doesn't feel right. Oh, wait, I'm not sure it's an extended grip...I know I bought a larger magazine...? I'll take it in and ask about that. Thanks, CP.

A Sig P238.

really-my wife loves them and has a bunch of them. I am pretty sure my hands are bigger than yours and I can shoot them very accurately with two hands. They have great trigger pulls and are very reliable
