The Psychology of those who hate guns....a good read from a Jewish Gunowner Group.

IMO, just like with abortion: if you don't like guns, don't buy one. But, leave everyone else the **** alone.

I think you will agree that I have been pretty consistent that way for the almost four years you have been here

Yep.

I kind of like the libertarian view on that sort of thing myself. But, I have some work to do before I am as consistent with it as I believe I need to be. It's easy to want to meddle.

You said something the other night that struck me as useful. Loosely translated: when in doubt on an issue, lean with less government is better than more government.

And we don't have problems with 120,000,000 gun owners tiger. But like the Muslims, we have tender folks such as yourself, associating the actions of a very, very, very small segment of asshats with the majority. All the while demanding someone do something to assuage their irrational fears rather than get over it and hold individuals responsible for their own actions.

The minority in the gun crowd that you refer to operate here, and through the NRA, and Alex Jones. I am one of the 120,000,000 that are separate and apart of that - agenda, that meme, that anti American (in my view) juggernaut that is merely pushing guns for the manufacturers and creating goblins where none exists...

You've finally won the cigar: all we have to do is look into the news and the heavy dockets to find the consistent influence and lobbying with big money of this crowd that are trying to have a direct effect fulfilling a million a month in sales through the use outright propaganda and manipulations of our legal system. That rhetoric is alive and well in this forum everyday, and you know it: you see it, as do the rest of us, and you know who those posters are. And it's reached the point of "A Jewish Gun Owner's Group Agrees with Us - So There!" as a topic of discussion? These guys operate just like the tobacco companies of the 50s and 60s and they think that country is stupid enough to buy it. And you guys think that it should go unchallenged because of something called the second amendment!?! HO - HO -HO, not a chance.

When have I EVER attributed that behavior to just anybody that owns a weapon?

Never.

You and I are finally on the same page. So careful with thoughts like "you don't have a right to walk safe streets".

Don't flatter yourself. Everytime you pontificate on what you feel gun owners should or should not own or how people should or should not defend themselves you are basing those ignorant suppositions on what an exceptionally small fraction of criminals have done; Essentially telling me and 120,000,000 gun owners we are not to be trusted any more than that small minority of asshats. No one here said you don't have the right to walk safe streets, so you can can the pompous BS. What we have all said is you do not have the right to "feel"safe by treating everyone as a potential criminal. Get over yourself.

Well then; getting the statement where Feinstein says the - should be snap for such well informed and educated man such as yourself.

Go ahead; prove that assertion.

If you can show where I claimed Feinstein said that I will be happy to. Since I know you cannot I will assume that once again you have deflected.

You made a claim as usual and have shown no evidence thereof despite two attempts to get you to do that. What is your excuse for not backing up your claim?

THAT, I think is the most ignorant and stupid statement I've ever read.

You have not shown any error with my claim. Do you think you can do so now or were you just trying to refute by flinging excrement?

Governments greed for power is well know and the DOI is at pains to point this out. Read it and see how even citizens apathy is noted. The forefathers were a lot smarter than we give them credit for.

In that case you are an elitist and think you are better than others.

Your use of the tobacco industry is deceitful and false in every aspect. There is no evidence that can prove firearm ownership has any causal influence oh the rate of crime. I more than 200 years of the most desperate seeking and falsification of research nothing stands that can even suggest the vague possibility there is a causal relationship.

When you can prove there is a causal relationship as was done in the case of the tobacco industry which deliberately suppressed even it own research and lied to the public in much the same way gun control does right now. In that your comparison is correct
