when obama needed a stimulus in 09 to end the bush recession, the "fiscal conservatiives" all opposed it in lockstep in the name of balancing the budget. Now they want a trillion dollars themselves. What happened?

Obviously you guys arent bright enough to know when you have won an argument. Bush doubled the debt. Obama came along and doubled it again. There was legitimate fear that that sort of deficit explosion would have massive negative consequences. It turns out that there are no consequences. So, spend away.

The 'tea party patriots' turned out to be neocon globalists. Their movement was replaced briefly with populist nationalism, before (surprise!) the faux populist nationalists reverted back to neocon globalism.

In Congress, there were a handful of true conservative republicans that opposed the spending in 2009. Of those still in congress, they again voted against THIS spending bill.

I am not opposed to legislation supporting individuals that are going to get hammered by this Wuhan Flu economic struggle. But I completely disagree with the legislation being submitted and the pending spending proposals. The relief should be targeted to those that actually NEED the money, not to every adult and child in America. There should be cooperative initiatives with banks to suspend payment for small businesses that are being hammered. There should be an agreement with banks to allow people to file for mortgage holds without penalty. There should be money set aside to allow those in need to apply for rent and utilities assistance as well as food assistance. But we dont need to be sending checks to everyone. Its a bad idea. Its a bad idea when a democrat suggests it. Its a bad idea when a republican suggests it. Its a bad idea...period.

many of them also lie about being pro-military. and being real Christians. and they certainly aren't actual fiscal conservatives.

they'll suck that government assistance up like those Baltimore Welfare Queens that the Pope/Vice Pope (Limbaugh/Hannity) preach about.

Think of it, you make four grand a year and you owe twenty and you're borrowing a grand a year, the wife is going to be happy, you can take the boss out for dinner and the kids will have toys and shoes, but someday you're going to have to go to work to pay it instead of having money.
