No general talk of corruption but only one name to investigate- Hunter Biden. No team of investigators, just his personal attorney. His wish list was simple- two long disproven rumors and the son of a political rival. At NO TIME did tRump mention general or widespread corruption or the need to investigate past Hunter Biden. Hunter was the only mention of someone to investigate, Burmisa isn't even mentioned...

I don't know, but these sources I am looking through give me the impression that several billion dollars were likely misappropriated or stolen from money allocated to the military during the Bush years. Liek I posted earlier here, the GAO has estimated more than $100 billion per year is lost through fraud, waste, theft and misappropriation.

You are wrong, but I cannot tell if you are deliberately twisting the truth or whether you are simply deceived or misinformed. In the July 25th phone call President Trump asked President Zelensky do America a favor because Ukraine had access to a lot of information American investigators were interested in concerning Crowdstrike and a server that Ukraine may have possession of. President Trump asked Zelensky if he would allow Attorney General Barr to meet with Ukrainian officials "to get to the bottom of it."

Zelenski responded by saying he was eager to work with American investigators in looking into those things and also asked Trump for help in looking into possible Ukrainian corruption in America. President Zelenski told Trump that one of his assistants had talked with Mayor Guiliani and Zelenski asked Trump if Guiliani could travel to Ukraine to meet with him. President Trump responded to that exchange,

"Good because I heard you had a prosecutor who was very good and he was shut down and that's really unfair. ...Mr. Guiliani is a highly respected man. He was the mayor of New York City, a great mayor, and I would like him to call you. I will ask him to call you along with the Attorney General. ...The former ambassador from the United States, the woman, was bad news and the people she was dealing with in the Ukraine were bad news so I just want to let you know that. The other thing. There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. That is not Trump asking Zelenski to dig up dirt on Biden or else. That was Trump telling Zelenski that Biden was running around here in America bragging that he got a Ukrainian prosecutor fired, successfully shutting down a legitimate investigation into the company Hunter Biden was working for. I cannot fathom how any American would be so stupid as to buy into the lying democrat crime cover-up narrative that Trump was pressuring Zelenski to make up dirt on Joe Biden. Is it the erroneous idea people have that most people are good and would never steal that causes them to believe democrat politicians accused of theft could not possibly be guilty? Hunter Biden's boss at Burisma was accused in 3 different countries of stealing and investigators claim he possibly can account for some of the millions of dollars of American aid money that has gone missing. Is Burisma's owner a thief? Is the Ukrainian prosecutor right in claiming $3 million dollars have been transferred from Burisma to Hunter Biden's bank account in the US? Is Hunter Biden a thief or a crook?

That is one thing Trump wants to find out and has asked Barr to look into when he goes to Ukraine.

It looks to me like the democrat pals had cooked up a scheme to have Congress send millions of dollars to Ukraine for worthy-sounding aid and relief, while setting up American managers in Ukraine to handle the incoming money and skim for themselves substantial portions of it from the top. Ukrainian officials claimed more than $3 million was deposited in American bank accounts controlled or accessed by Hunter Biden. American soldiers managed to steal more than $1.5 billion of a total of $14 billion in cash which was flown on Air Force cargo planes to Iraq just after hostilities ended in 2003. They stashed the money in a bunker in Lebanon, but they got caught because American auditors came along looking for it. Some estimates run as high as $10 billion went missing in just the 18 months Bill Clinton was overseeing relief operations in Haiti. Bill had total control over the money handling operations and he apparently was never questioned about the missing money.

Americans who rise up in anger at the suggestion that some of our political leaders may be crooks and thieves do great damage to American efforts to stop graft, theft, corruption and fraud.
