There is a Republican President and once again, we can expect the internet to attract a certain type of troll.
The Democrat who has suddenly discovered the massive debt that Democrats have created.
Of course, the suddenly concerned liberal doesn't care where the debt came from.

The federal debt more than doubled under Obama, and he left Trump a legacy of worsening deficits.

“I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits, now or in the future.”
Obama’s Parting Gift: Trillion-Dollar Deficits As Far As The Eye Can See – Investors | Daily Traders Edge
"I’m running to pay down our debt in a way that’s balanced and responsible.”
Obama's Parting Gift: $20 Trillion In Public Debt And A Rising Budget Deficit | Zero Hedge
But now the liberals who didn't care the Trillion dollar deficits when Obama was President....
Are terrified about projected deficits under Trump.
That interest on the old debt will make up about 400 billion of "Trump deficit" this year doesn't matter.
After Obama ran up more public debt than all the Presidents in history combined, he sealed America's fate. There is no way to fix this.
One can only wonder where the Democratic concern for debt was when it mattered.
In 1996, Republicans did the unthinkable, to stop debt.
Republicans basically made Democrat Bill Clinton the King of America.
The Line Item Veto Act of 1996.
The President would be able to control the budget, and thereby, in reality, control everything in America.
Immediately Democrats filed lawsuits to stop the ultimate tool for stopping debt.
The Kings of Debt and Waste, saw it as an affront to their very existence.
That a Republican Congress would give this much power to a Democrat, speaks volumes about how much conservatives care about stopping debt.
But it speaks even greater about how much Democrats care about spending.
Democrats turned down unlimited power to pursue any agenda they wished in order to spend.
Clinton v. City of New York, 524 U.S. 417 (1998), the Supreme Court ruled that the line-item veto impermissibly gave the President the power to unilaterally amend or repeal parts of statutes that had been duly passed by Congress.
Repeatedly, Republicans have tried control government spending.
The Republicans have consistently tried to pass a Balanced Budget Amendment that would end debt.

Sorry!
The vote was 66 in favor and 34 opposed, but that was one short of the two-thirds required for a constitutional amendment.

Republicans have repeatedly put their money where their mouth is when it comes to stopping the debt.
Democrat have repeatedly put their money where their mouth is when it comes to exploding the debt.
It's truly sickening to watch the same people who fought FOR the debt, now complain about the consequences of the debt.
