Every once in a while someone has an idea that makes a great deal of sense. Here is such an idea.

Even the Swamp Party would like to find a way to circumvent Trump's disastrous foreign policies, especially with our allies in Europe and Canada.

No one wants a trade war. Even Trump's hardcore base is concerned, as well they should be. Many of them will be adversely effected by a trade war. Congress is reportedly working to on a way to limit Trump's ill-conceived trade wars. Problem is Trump does not care as long as he is not going to lose money. So what if most Americans and much of his base takes it in the shorts. Congress will likely remain impotent.

Trump rules by fiat and for the most part the GOP cowers in fear. Don't look for Congress to find a reasonable and prompt way out.

Donald Trump has opened the largest rift between the US and its European allies since George W Bush’s illegal invasion of Iraq. From the Paris accord, to the Iran nuclear deal, to pushing for the inclusion of Russia in a G8, the US president has demonstrated no regard for Europe’s security interests. Europe, in turn, has failed to understand how to deter Trump from sabotaging the transatlantic axis. Currently, Europe is considering sanctions and tariffs on US companies. It shouldn’t. To stop Trump and protect its interests, Europe should sanction Trump himself instead.Since taking office, Trump has systematically undermined Europe while damaging the US national interest. Precisely because Washington’s European allies want to preserve the transatlantic relationship – unlike Trump – they have been hesitant to push back hard.

But in its caution, Europe has fallen for a false hope: the belief that Trump can be appeased, that he can be reasoned with and that he can be convinced to abandon his current path with logic. Essentially, Europe has failed to understand that Trump cares more about himself than his country. Like a dictator of a developing country, Trump is less concerned with the prosperity of American families or the country as a whole than with enriching himself and his family businesses.

Speaking for Europe (which I am no more or less entitled to do than any other individual) I have no desire to 'stop Trump' being, by and large, an admirer of his foreign policy.

The statement in bold in your post, to the effect that President Trump is creating a caliphate, I find devoid of even a trace of sense. So profoundly stupid that I am amazed that you repeat it.

Actually I didn't repeat it. If you'll look I immediately edited the post, twice in fact. There was code hidden in the original copy. Once I posted I saw what I thought was all of the hidden code. Upon looking again there was additional hidden code. The sentence concerning Trump creating a caliphate does not appear in the article. It does however appear when the article is copied.

Nothing will change a nationalist viewpoint. Supporters of Wilders, AfD, SD, etc. are all enthusiastic about Trump.

Trump rules by fiat??? You mean to say that he uses a pen and a phone? Are you saying that wasnt ruling by fiat when Obama did it but is when Trump does? Or is this just another one of your hackish "I hate Trump for no rational reason' threads? I know, a lot of questions in there. Do your best.

Another stupid story written by a Nation-of-Islam supporter who is presently running for Attorney General in Minnesota.
If he gets his wish, you'll know how he's gonna "rule": never mind the person, but rather eliminate what makes that person.

No, my European friends. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Of creating a caliphate.

More "robber baron".

Working his win to his maximum benefit.

He couldn't care less about anybody else

Are you capable of arguing your opposition with facts? I've never seen you do that. It certainly is not what you ever seem to do. Normally, as above, your response is pithy and uninformed. Bait. Bubbette blather.

If you oppose the article in the OP I welcome your reasoned and logical response.

Well, you weren't a big fan when Obama did it. Why the change of heart?

Logic and reason does not work with garbage spewed by Nation-of-Islam followers.

Much of Europe is already committing imported suicide. I guess why not finish the job?

Darling, I'm going to be straight up honest with you. I am a Southern man, born and raised. From the many fine generations before me I was brought up in Southern culture. The Southland will forever make me proud. Until the day I die from time to time I will encounter the misinformed and ignorant stereotypes some people have about Southern people. One stereotype is that we are dimwitted, uneducated, narrow-minded and backwards. I am none of those things nor are my family and most of my Southern friends. Most Southern people don't fit those stereotypes. Mindful of the stereotypes I do my best to act in a manner that might chance stereotypical attitudes and damned if you aren't reinforcing them.

Hon, the dimwitted only applies to liberals. If you're not a liberal, consider yourself excluded.

You have to understand that many leftists here suffer from what the rest of us call: "TDS= Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Sense and logic have no place in their worldview.

If Pres.Trump cured cancer, they'd start bitching about him putting Death out of work...

I think he means Trump rules by a brain that has the critical thinking skills of a Fiat. And like a Fiat he is easily controlled by anyone with any intelligence who attempts to control him.

With shell organizations, it is a little hard to understand all of his companies. He can open a company in Canada, that opens a company in Germany. Then, he can open a company in Japan, that purchase the German company from his company in Canada.
