Exactly. The Clintons were heroes because look at all the good done by the Clinton Foundation. Bernie Sanders was a hero because he spoke up for the little guy. Bill Gates is great because of all the good things he does with his foundation. George Soros is good because he donates to the liberal cause. Michael Moore is good because he donates to the liberal cause. Warren Buffet is good because he gives lip service to liberal causes. Oprah Winfrey and other celebrities are good because they give lip service and donate to liberal causes. Nancy Pelosi is great because she is a diehard liberal. And yet, all of these people have something in common - they are filthy stinking rich off the backs of those who work under them and those who buy their products and they all get a free pass by the left when they are no different than Wall Street CEO's and all other evil business owners.

Notice how the right is so bereft of policy arguments, the dems/left must always fall on their swords to represent sincere adherence to their policy but not the right because

they will easily fall on their own sword (pillow) to get richer from their policies.

I.e., you must be poor to represent the poor but you don't have to rich to represent the rich. NO...that's how you might get rich yourself.

Oh please. They trample on those under them just as the rich on the right do. That's how they got rich in the first place. Bill Gates or Warren Buffet, et al, could not ever have gotten rich in the first place without stomping on those under them. The only difference is, one side donates to liberal causes while the other side does not. You give the rich on the left a free pass.

Indeed, but they advocate for healthcare, education, safety nets, the right to be who you are, marry who you want, etc.

Bragging about victories your ideas don't deserve is the height of narcissism, very Trump-ish actually. Calling Trump voters smart is absurd. They didn't vote with their intellects, they voted with their hate. Any moron can do, and has done, that.

You're right that the left is not doing a good job of making arguments palatable to idiots. Moral behavior is always a hard sell, ask Jesus.
