Yes, the numbers get higher each generation. That's why the percentage numbers are what's important. You know that, though. Trump could well increase the deficit by a higher number but will be considered a success if it's a lower percentage.

Yes, it did. Because Obama is the most recent president. Trump could very easily grow it more, dollar-wise but less percentage-wise and be called a success.
Surely you know this? Roosevelt only added $236 billion but it was 1,048%.
Did you notice the part that says Trump is liable to add as much in his first term as Obama did in two? Or the part that says Saint Ronald of Reagan added 186%? $1.86 trillion, a record until Dubya added $5.85 trillion, but Dubya's number only represents 101%.
I suppose you have a point in there somewhere, but the fact remains that Obama added more to the debt than any other president. But if you insist on giving the overall title to FDR, go right ahead.

Its a meaningless claim, as is the labeling of blue vs red. States do not control who lives in their state, whether they pay taxes, or whether they receive federal benefit. 50% of taxes is paid by the top 5% and most of them live in "blue states", though they certainly arent liberals. Meanwhile millions of poor liberals live in 'red' states.
