UPS for me, USPS is terrible.

That is the dead last thing those referring to themselves as "conservatives" these days are about.

    From the article:

Bezos runs Amazon, which is primarily a shipping business. It relies on the U.S. Postal Service to deliver two-thirds of its packages. In many places now, it locates a depot near a post office, presorts the packages, and delivers them to the post office. The Postal Service, which has a monopoly on last-mile delivery, does the rest.

    Mine come UPS, also.
That right there is funny. Nobody else WANTS to take the "last-mile delivery" business of many addresses in the US because there's no profit in it. That's part of the reason why the USPS loses money. That, and they have to pre-fund hundreds of millions in retirement benefits.
I'm not going to chase you while you run around with the goalpost in your arms.

There are “free markets” and there are “subsidized markets”. Amazon is getting a legal, unexpected subsidy of taxpayer largesse.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence everywhere but here
Trump is here because we made an existential bad bargain with China
1975 was the last time the US had a positive trade balance.

We simply cannot have workers in america living in any kind of economic security after a lifetime of work which makes the system go. But not to worry, we've also just deregulated the nursing home industry wherein patients will have no recourse in the face of maltreatment. That might get in the way of someone’s profit.

They do that on our rural postal route - we call it Amazon Sunday.

You folks? The post office could die tomorrow and I wouldn't give a ****.

Fedex and UPS delivery drivers make pretty good money.

I don’t know any FedEx drivers, but all the UPS drivers I have met are dues paying Teamsters.
