CEOs say exactly where tax cut proceeds will go

Major companies including Cisco Systems Inc., Pfizer Inc. and Coca-Cola Co. say they’ll turn over most gains from proposed corporate tax cuts to their shareholders, undercutting President Donald Trump’s promise that his plan will create jobs and boost wages for the middle class.


The president has held fast to his pledge even as top executives’ comments have run counter to it for months. Instead of hiring more workers or raising their pay, many companies say they’ll first increase dividends or buy back their own shares.

Anyone who knows anything about how our economy works knows damn well that the tax cuts to Big Corp won't be used to create jobs. They'll be used to pay down debt, buy back shares and pay out ginormous golden parachutes and bonuses to executives. Anyone who claims otherwise is delusional.

The kleptocracy is in full effect. Middle-to-lower class wages will continue to stagnate, and our taxes go up to boot. A big giant dick in the ass, courtesy of Donald Trump, the Republican Party and the blithering idiots who continue to support them against their own best interests because somewhere, a gay couple might be getting married or *gasp* a Mexican might not have proper documentation. Can't have that.
