Nancy Pelosi'a Speech

I particularly liked her saying that Republicans rammed it through without a single Democrat vote and how they didn't even read the bill first. Seems like I heard that somewhere before.

Yeah. They really don't seem to understand that premiums rose so much for everyone else that those raised premiums now equal what people used to pay for pre-existing conditions. So now everyone pays the same.

Your opinion of the CBO is irrelevant to the question of the accuracy of Pelosi's statement.

The point of pulling preexisting conditions in with everyone else is to keep their unlucky outcomes from being so catastrophic.

While the "nancy said" is not as totally ignorant as the BC and death panel narrative you believed its still just a lie.

Klat, help me understand what you think that 9 second (yea, 9 seconds) youtube video proves. Nobody denies that she said those exact words (denying facts is a conservative trait). What you are ignoring in your obedient zeal to cling to lying conservative narratives is the rest of what she said that puts those 9 seconds in context. And you are also ignoring (now read this very slowly) it took 10 months to pass Obamacare and everybody knew what was in the bill. It wasn't hidden away so nobody could see it. It wasn't passed quickly to squelch any discussion and it wasn't passed before the CBO could evaluate it.

You should examine your emotional need to flail at something that has helped 20 million Americans gain health coverage, lower the deficit and increase the quality of care. Gmeyers was smart enough to cut and run. why weren't you?
