From observing the House of Representatives and the Senate hearings for the past few days. It becomes painfully clear that 1) there should be an upper limit on age (way too many are past their due date!).
2) there should be Wonderlic test, geared to public service, and administered to incoming reps/Senators
The American people have some poor excuses for representation!
