Which is more important: Freedom of Speech/Assembly or the Right to Keep & Bear Arms?

"some of the most evil & oppresive governments have been taken down without firing a shot or brandeshing a weapon.

Communist Poland. The German Democratic Republic. Communist Czechoslovakia. Communist Hungary.

Not only do more guns NOT ensure a safer society, but they are clearly NOT needed to overthrow tyranny."

Right on Thunder, communist took over Germany in 1919, and Russia in 1917.

Communist took over America, or began taking over in the 1980's and all finished taking over today.

Yes, guns cannot save Constitutional America. The Constitution made a citizen armed revolution unnecessary in the U.S. forevermore and actually counterproductive. The Constitution provides the citizenry a peaceful means with impunity to maintain Constitutional America and Constitutional American cannot be maintained any other way, or by any other method than that written in the Constitution.

A bit difficult to understand due to formatting but IF you are saying the Communists took power in Germany in 1919 - you are wrong. If you are saying the Communists took power in 1917, you are partially right - Communists, along with socialists and republicans overthrew the Czar but it wasn't until 1922 that the Communists established the Soviet Union and not until 1923 did they have full control in Russia.

The Communists have not taken control in America except in the minds of a few delusional weirdos who probably also believe in the Illuminati and the Rothschild family financing the hidden Jewish agenda that is the True power oppressing 'right-thinking' humans everywhere - or is it the reptilian overlords who manipulate our minds? I can never get it straight.

Sounds like you got it pretty straight to me. The only thing now is figure out what we, Americans/citizenry in the know, can actually do about it. Looks to me like we need to vote to not reelect Incumbent Representatives and serve on citizen juries to forbid the courts unjustly punishing the accused.

"Constitutionally" the only force the citizenry has over the federal government is the exclusive power to choose Representative, or not choose (fire) the Incumbent Representative. That is perfectly clear to me, how about you?

I really like that part about serving on juries! :)

As Jefferson pointed out, the jury is the best thing yet devised by man to keep government within the confines of the constitution.

:)

Yeah, it's hard to keep the various insanities straight.

And it's amazing that some people still worry about the iniquitous Communist influence. Jeesh.

We definitely underestimate the importance of the jury system. Too many among us are too eager to deal out punishment, rather than justice. So many consider a trial merely a formality, and decide beforehand that a suspect is guilty. It's never that simple. And juries are a very important check on the imposition of unjust and unconstitutional laws.
