I just got back from watching the show live at a theater in my town. It had it's funny moments (my favorite being when he opened the show and welcomed everyone to the first shareholder meeting of the new General Motors), but he also did a fantastic job of pointing out what's wrong with our government. I lived in Kansas City for two years and I spotted two people in the crowd that I knew as well (thought that was cool). One was a female that they showed at least twice before the intermission and the other was the girl that he had on stage representing "Freedom".

Unfortunately, if you listen to his radio show and/or watch his TV show, a lot of what was covered has been covered of late on one or both shows. But he did have some great jokes and I found his story of the seven women to be interesting (it's amazing what our high school history books left out).

To the "Beck Haters", most of which have probably never even seen his show or listened to him on the radio, he spares no expense at thoroughly trashing both parties. Unlike what you may have read about him from the left-wing internet sites, he is no Republican. He only held one Republican up and that of course was Reagan.

I don't want to give anything away, but he opened the show with telling us what really happened on the train (wink, wink). Truly hilarious!

I plan to watch his show more often. This guy is no Limbaugh. To be fair, however, he is also no Burke, but unlike the mediocre Olbermann, he doesn't pretend to be "pointy-headed".

The show is entertaining, you have to give him that.

My problem with Glenn Beck's comedy tour is that we are supposed to take him as an "act" when on a comedy tour, but we're supposed to take him as being "sincere" when he's bawling his eyes on Fox News.

He's a crook and nothing more.

Glenn Beck is an entertainer first and foremost. His show was informative, comical and educational, just like his TV and radio shows.

And how exactly is he a crook?

So you're saying he needs to run for office?

I guess...isn't that 2 different situations?

If it's a comedy tour, be comical, if it's a radio show, be...serious?

Bob and Tom are a radio show that is also comical....

Well. As it stands I am not planning on voting next election, so let him join the circus.

Anyone who disingenuously cries on National Television and considers his show one for reference (to make informative decisions) is a crook.

They both make he me laugh. i don't know the difference between his acts.

Hey, if a Comedy Central star like Stephen Colbert can edit Newsweek, why can't a news commentator such as Beck play a room for a few laughs?

As for Stephen Colbert's journalistic credentials.....

The only conservatives I ever thought were funny is Foxworthy and the Blue Collar crew. Comedy doesn't seem to be innate for Conservatives...control, and authority are. Since Nov 2008, anger is too.

And just to get you guys started on a reply

Isn't that how you started your post in this topic?

give me a break, go troll somewhere else.

I watch Beck daily. While I dont agree with him all the time and feel he often portrays worste case scenarios as the likely outcome I do find his show is informative and entertaining.

Bob and Tom are f'ing hilarious. I grew up in Indy and have been listening to them for years - long before they went syndicated.

Got a link of him crying on national television? And since when does he consider his show "one for reference"? He's not Rush Limbaugh in the slightest.

It's one thing to not like him, but to speak untruths about him because you don't like him are two different issues altogether.

I don't agree with him all the time either. And he is somewhat of a conspiracy theorist (or doomsday painter at the least), but he is informative and I do find him entertaining.

Obama taking control of the banking industry, the car industry, the mortgage industry and soon to be the health industry and you have the gall to say that Conservatives crave control and authority? Conservatives seek neither. The current incarnation of the GOP and the entire Democratic party does, but conservatives - no way. It seems to me as though you don't have the first clue what conservatives are for, but that doesn't surprise me in the least. Next time can you be more off-topic, because you'll have a tough time topping this one.

Let me guess, did it go something like this...

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTN3s2iVKKI]YouTube - Network[/ame]

I bet he didn't say this...

So, you listen to me. Listen to me: Television is not the truth! Television is a God-damned amusement park! Television is a circus, a carnival, a traveling troupe of acrobats, storytellers, dancers, singers, jugglers, side-show freaks, lion tamers, and football players. We're in the boredom-killing business! So if you want the truth... Go to God! Go to your gurus! Go to yourselves! Because that's the only place you're ever going to find any real truth.

He's not that smart.

Wow, you didn't talk about Beck once in this post, you're off topic yourself. No need to be thin skinned about my pointing out how humorless you Republics are. Just look at your quoted post, it's all anger. You need to find calm. :)

You say troll with a wooden spoon, then tell me to troll somewhere else? Also, you're not very original are you?
