A Caucasian woman would be best who can speak out for issues that matter to all no matter what.

Yes a Caucasian woman who can cover issues that definitely address Black, Asian , Middle Eastern, Native American, Mediterranean, Jewish, etc etc etc values would be the best choice.

Placing a black woman as VP would subject that person to some extreme racist and narrow minded language beyond reality. Hopefully Biden is more awake than some think.

Place women throughout as Cabinet Secretaries aka real positions of power.

No, selecting a person for a position based not upon her qualifications but upon the color of her skin is racist.

Joe just said the other day “To prove I am not a misogynistic racist, I will only consider a woman of color.”

Grandpa is waiting for someone to tell him his choice.

Not even close Fletch. Qualifications do not matter. (See postal service for one, NSA, HUD, Education for another). People should be placed in positions of power based upon their subservience to the president and nothing else. If they happen to be a person of color, well that's just a bonus. (See the majority of the Trump Administration) the are the least experienced and most corrupt admin in history.

Bold Leadership "I CAN'T decide. It will cost me politically either way!!!!!"

Hell, I'm still waiting for the announcement on Trumpcare.

The is a fight going on with
Harris - too much baggage
Bass - too radical.
Warren - too white.
Michell Obama - too much risk to her brand.
Hillary - forever up to her neck in malfeasance.

The problem is the obvious bait and switch of a Biden victory.

This thread is not about Trump, it is about Biden. Either focus or take your TDS nonsense elsewhere.

Most logical approach.....

Actually, that was about Fletch nonsense. Entirely different and quite applicable.

This thread isnt about Fletch either. So either focus on the topic or take your FDS elsewhere.

So it would be racist for Biden to choose a black woman knowing she will be subjected to racist language, and the "woke" move would be to choose a white woman, even though rejecting black women because of the color of their skin is racist.

How about we forget all this nonsense about the color of women and pick the most qualified candidate regardless of their race or gender?

Skin color and gender should be irrelevant, but that's not the case for democrats. The VP pick should be the most qualified person for the job, not a token pick that represents identity politics and the SJW's.

What a load of crap.

If a black female VP pick were to be hit with racist and anti-women rhetoric, that would generate sympathy and support for that candidate because the American people don't tolerate that kind of stuff in this day and age.

Place women throughout as Cabinet Secretaries aka real positions of power.

Again, people should be selected based on their qualifications, not based on what's between their legs... But that's the democratic party for you.

Biden isn't choosing his VP, his campaign is trying to make a political calculation on who would be the best for the ticket. I don't think Biden has any say in his own campaign, he's a puppet candidate.

That said though, it would be interesting if Trump picked Nikki Haley to be his VP. I'd love to see her as president (moreso than Trump himself).

Just thinking out loud.
What if he decided to bump Pence and choose Condoleezza Rice? What would our liberal friends say then?

Biden should pick the person he likes the best.

He has until the August 17th to pick somebody.

The VP will matter very little here.

By all means, change my mind.

This approach would put more women in "important" positions .... men cannot seem to make peace with the world.

Biden never should have announced his V.P. would be a particular gender and a particular skin color.

He should have announced his V.P. pick after he decided who would be his V.P.

Presenting only the qualifications of the person as his reason for choosing that particular person to be his Vice President.

Make no mention that she is a woman of color since people will figure that out for themselves when she is introduced.

That would enhance her image of Vice President as being chosen for her qualifications alone.

Thus eliminate the political usage of gender and color of skin as being the most important reason for her being chosen and qualifications came in second.

That procedure would have been based on Respect for his chosen Vice President.

imho Roseann:)

I agree that he should make the pick soon. It's a complete non-issue.
