Sen Johnson and Sen Grassley's star witness a Russian operative?

Intel officials tell Congress that Russia is spreading false information about Biden - CNNPolitics

Senator Johnson of Wisconsin and Senator Grassley of Iowa have been running investigations of the Biden's in Ukraine in an attempt to come dirt that will help Trump to beat Biden in November. Now the intelligence group run by a Trump appointee has had to admit that the star witness is just a Russian operative that my have been feeding the senators false information to help Russia gain the goal they desire of having Trump reelected rather than a group they consider anti-Russia. Do I think that this will in any way change the report that these two Senators will finish, not a chance. Tell the lie and make it a very big one and you can get Trump's followers to believe. The government of Ukraine has already done an investigation into the charges and found them false, but that does not agree with what the GOP wants, so it will be disregarded.
 
In other, completely unrelated events :roll:, it turns out SecState Mike Pompeo warned Russia’s foreign minister against Moscow paying bounties to Taliban-linked militants and other Afghan fighters for killing American service members.

Isn't that great? After sitting on the information for months, the Trump Admin only acted after the bounty scandal became public. But get this:

"Mr. Pompeo and the State Department have been careful not to reveal any details of actions he might have taken based on the intelligence over the bounties. That is perhaps because of both the classified material and to avoid potential fury from Mr. Trump, who has strongly dismissed reports of the intelligence and has tried to cultivate a friendship with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia."

Oh. So Trump values his "friendship" with Putin over the lives of American soldiers. Or, more likely, Trump values his reelection more than the lives of American soldiers.

Either way, it's our troops who come in last.

Democrats are making the case that intelligence reviewed by members of Congress and both campaigns adds up to a broader Russian interference effort intended to damage Biden's candidacy and, in turn, help President Donald Trump.
However, Republicans argue that there is not clear evidence that foreign actors seeking to interfere in the 2020 race, prefer one candidate over the other.

The intelligence community, meanwhile, has been careful to steer clear of publicly suggesting Russia prefers one candidate over the other.

I wonder...do these Democrats and Republicans think the American public are so easily manipulated by Russians, Iranians and Chinese? Do they think Americans believe everything they are told? Considering how many Americans are easily manipulated by our own Trump hating media, I suspect the answer is yes.

Since Americans are essentially sheep, perhaps we really should take steps to protect them. Of course, that would mean violating the 1st Amendment by shutting down all of those who are trying to manipulate Americans...including the Trump hating media.

Ukraine has listed Biden in a criminal case for extortion. That isn't using foreign intelligence, its a foreign country accusing Biden of a crime. Which he is guilty of.

And how can we be sure they are really phone calls by Biden? You do not think that the russians can fake phone calls. They can use speeches and other remarks made by Biden to make a phone call say anything they want and they want TRUMP. You must really be naive>

Yeah, you should run with that story. Just an FYI, we have the technology to verify who's on the call. Sorry, that excuse was rendered useless about 20 years ago. :lamo

Ukraine found no evidence against Hunter Biden in case audit: former top prosecutor - Reuters
So Hunter Biden was guilty of nothing and the only crime Joe was guilty of was pushing Ukraine to fire their prosecutor who was involved with the Russians. Keep finding the Russians involved in all of this aren't we? And if you think that the Russians do not have the tech to do as they want, you are really, really naive.

We weren't talking about Hunter Biden. We were talking about the Ukraine judge that required Joe Biden to be listed in a criminal case for extortion. I doubt very seriously if Reuters has any pull with the Ukrainian courts. But you're welcome to deflect to Hunter any time you want.

So if they fake Bidens voice on a phone recording, you think they are going to assassinate everyone else who was on the call so they can't testify to the conversation. How about the stenographers? You going to assassinate them too?

Sorry, you fake voice theory doesn't wash.
