I've said all through the virus that if something is developed to prevent or cure or relieve the virus that is in limited supply, that I'm concerned that the wealthy will get disproportionate, unfair access.

We got a little taste of this, when no one knew much about how to get tested, when news stories a broke that an NBA player was found positive when all NBA was tested. Wait, what? Why were they all tested, before sick people in hospitals?

This hasn't come up a lot, because the things have been pretty universal: mostly social distance, masks, and hand-washing. There's the basic issue of healthcare, but that's been widely available, including up to ventilators, and there isn't a rare treatment.

This issue is threatening to come up, with the coming things - vaccines, and a plasma treatment. This is an article discussing the issue. It has some info on how the medical industries are saying they want to be more fair.

This is in general rather than the virus forum because the topic is how our political system handles such inequality, not the virus in particular.

I've already had the virus. Was treated with 200 mgs of hydroxychloroquine with Zinc and Azithromycin. Now I have the antibodies and was back on my feet in 2 days.

We already have a cure. Always did. Didn't need a ventilator, didn't need to be hospitalized,

Thats the benefit of having military medical staff to treat me.
