Donnie Dirtbag Tells Farts and Friends That The Election May "Take Years" to Call

Trump, in '''Fox & Friends''' interview, warns it could take years to get election results with mass-mailed ballots | Fox News

This insane Rage Baby of a "president" will stop at nothing to stay in power. Every day this PoS is in office the Republic is in mortal danger.

Besides the juvenile choice for your title, this is where we part ways. He's not wrong when he said changing it to mail in votes could take a long time.

Why not give absentee ballots, which Trump is for, or simply allow the voter to go to the polls? Seems like a much better idea. Business as usual.

He is not just wrong. He's lying out his ass as usual. Even the highlighted sentence above admits that even though you pretend it doesn't. There's not an iota's difference between the way absentee and voting by mail is handled by the PO. Ballots of each category are mailed out to voters and mailed back (or dropped off at polling sites). Oregon was the first state to go all mail voting 20 years ago and there's never been any suggestion that there was any measurable fraud associated with it.

Thirty-five states (including such pure red states like ID, MT, ND, OK, SD, WY) have either all-mail or no-excuse absentee voting.

No thinking adult patriotic American takes anything this spoiled bully says seriously anymore, he's an ignorant clown, his words are meaningless as is his existence.

His term ends January 20. If there is not yet a result, then the presidency would go to an president pro tem, which would be the speaker of the house.

The President Pro-Tempore is a Senator (currently Grassley), not House, position and is not anywhere in the line of succession to the presidency. The Speaker of the House is second in line after the VP.

Lol @ farts and friends.

Absentee ballots are mail in votes.

You are thinking of the president pro-tempore of the senate. Not the same thing. Hint: pro tem means temporary...

Because there are already states that have used mass mailing voting for several years and the world has not ended. The real question is why does Trump want to continue to use voter suppression in the USA?

Your team has labels for almost "everything". There is no proof that he wants to "suppress the vote"...

What's wrong with absentee voting and people going to the polls?
Oh that's right... NOTHING. :)

Had to look it up. You're both correct and not quite correct. The president-pro-tem of the Senate is, in fact, 3rd in line (i.e., next after the SotH). Well played, sir.

He is, and it is not the same thing as president pro tem, which would just be someone to fill the office until the results came in. It would go to the speaker of the house, since both the president and ice president would have their term finished. Now, there would be tons of fighting and legal challenges, and thankfully it will almost certainly not happen, but in theory that is what happens.

Well, of course, no ones expects his cultists to actually admit that he's suppressing the vote even as they eagerly support exactly that.

You might have heard there's a virus rampaging the country right now, getting worse by the day which would make in-person voting a very risky thing especially as it happens to be in the very month that the official "flu season" begins. Seeing as who the person is whom you worship that begins to look like you want a lot of people to choose between getting sick or voting. Are you committed to voting in person yourself, no matter what, even if your state offers (and it does) at least one way of doing it by mail? And how could we trust that you'd give us an honest, truthful answer to that question?

Why not set a due date for mail in ballots a week or 10 days before the walk in voting? Gives time for the election staff to run the ballots through the scanners.

if President Trump believes that many States are going to use mail in ballot voting, shouldn't the feds been working to assist those States to ensure the ballots will be received in time, validated and scanned? What we get from President Trump is nothing but negative remarks. Poor leadership, imo.

Come January 21st,, that could make Patrick Leahy president.

  • On Jan. 20, 2021 Trump and Vice-president Mike Pence's terms expire. They could not seek office.
  • The Speaker of the House is third in line, but without an election every house member's term expires Jan. 3, including Pelosi.
  • Fourth in line is president pro tempore of the Senate, the senior most member of the majority party, currently Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-IA. But, the majority party would flip because 23 Republicans and 12 Democratic seats would be up for re-election in 2020, with terms expiring in January.
  • Losing less seats, the Democrats would have control of the Senate. The senior most member of the majority party, fourth in line, would be Leahy.

Actually, there is scant proof that he doesn't want to suppress the vote.

Unless your state restricts absentee voting like Texas..

Covid guidelines, (social distancing; masks, standing 6 feet apart, hand sanitizers) wouldn't work at the polls? Then why are we having guidelines at all?

Not too late to apply for an absentee ballot. I highly recommend them especially for high risk groups, but I also believe most of the country would prefer to vote the old fashion way, exercising their right to vote by going to the polls.

Mail in ballots is a social construct the left concocted to parrot the line, the meanies, 'Trump and the GOP' wants to suppress the vote. There is no evidence of this.
Mail in ballots simply aren't needed, and of course, this my opinion.
