They most certainly are personal mental health issues, and anyone suffering from them would benefit from seeking professional help in dealing with their issues in a healthy productive way. Wither may of scored some political points with her base for the theatrics in her declaration but it also probably widened the divide between her and her opposition.

There are NO theatrics involved. The pandemic IS hitting blacks and minorities hard, and it TRULY is a health crisis. There is NO grandstanding there.

Depression is NOT simply negative. DEPRESSION is also to motivate you to CHANGE. To help transition to action, ANGER HELPS.

All of us low grade depressed, are ramping up, to work, for the change we seek.

He was not my Congressman, but I assume without looking, that his work included introduction or co-sponsorship of legislation that was friendly to workers interests, the enviornment, etc., the usual liberal stuff. And of course, his legacy is, among other things, the Voting Rights Act to, which he gave his skull, and which has been responsible for fairer elections and significant numbers of black state and national office holders.

But Trump's answer is still wanting, right up there with his trashing of McCain's war record. Kind of a sad commentary, in a way, in that Trump, was disinvited to the latter's funeral and couldn't be moved (or wisely/appropriately stayed away, to give the Donald credit) to attend Lewis's. Trump has become sort of irrelevant, reportedly not participating in discussions or negotiations on Virus relief legislation. But true to form, his administration's recent contributions to politics, suggesting delaying election day and cutting short the census, are faithful to his anti-democracy pattern
