The people of Missouri voted to expand Medicaid under the ACA program. This is one of the reddest states out there and due to this virus they are expanding Medicaid to insure they can get health insurance. I would never say this vote is one that shows that Missouri is turning Blue, but it shows that the American people can look at what is happening and make the best fo a bad situation, even when it does not coincide with their normal political positions. Of course if the SCOTUS ends the ACA, this will all be moot and all of those who expect to be covered by this program will see it end. Trump keeps saying that his administration has a health insurance program to replace the ACA, but I would not hold my breath. Maybe like NAFTA, he will just replace the tittle page of the ACA and the new title page will call it the Trump health insurance program. Loves his name on things.

The best part about this passing is that it's part of the Missouri constitution and the governor and legislature have little they can do to thwart it...

So did Idaho. It never made any sense for red states to refuse the healthcare for their own citizens. It really exposed the different agendas between the plutocrats, who were happy to get the healthcare blocked in some states, and the Republican voters, who oddly prefer to get healthcare, even if it's for a minority of their state.

Obamacare.

All the small business people I know use Obamacare to get the discount. Plumbers, electricians, auto mechanics, roofers, etc. These people make up Trump's base.

Why did Trump target Obamacare? Is there a reason other than Obama is black? I don't think Trump is racist, but a lot of Trump's followers are.
