Doi they get more than they paid into the "retirement plan"? Can you name another "retirement plan" where recipients, on average, get about 30% more than they every contributed?

Employers are fully responsible for unemployment taxes. Unlike other salary deductions, employees do not contribute to unemployment tax payments. Businesses make payments for FUTA through their federal payroll tax contributions. For SUTA, through state payroll tax contributions.

You don't understand economics, Blue Tex. IF I were allowed to put the same amount of money away into a savings account or mutual fund, I would get more than I would get from the federal government. If you work you will see a line item on your stub for various things like federal taxes, state taxes, county taxes,
