I'm not interested in your attempts to use whataboutism as a deflection from the facts about the corrupt Obama administration...which just so happens to be the topic of this thread. Your claims about Trump and Bush do NOT negate the facts about Obama.

He and his administration DID illegally use the NSA database for corrupt purposes...a lot...since at least 2012. That's a fact. When Rogers shut down the ability to do that in Apr 2016, Obama and his corrupt administration started their illegal operations against the Trump campaign, continued during the transition period and, after the inauguration, installed the Mueller team to control the DOJ/FBI as long as they could...all with the help of the mainstream media...to hold off investigation and legal action against those corrupt Obama pukes as long as they could. Those are facts.

Well, that's over. The investigations of Durham and others is happening. Those Obama and deep state pukes (some of them, at least) will be held accountable. That's a fact.

All the whataboutism in the world from you and others won't change those facts.

Donald Trump is getting great mileage from issuing threats about the Chinese Communist Party getting information about Americans who use Chinese technology but I cannot see why those same Americans have no problem with the American government watching everything their citizens are doing.

It became fashionable for conservative Americans to unfairly criticize Jimmy Carter before he left office. Those same people were delighted to have Ronald Reagan of Iran-Contra fame take over and begin the slide into a government with no concern about CIA-supported death squads in Central America where indigenous people were described as communists when their lives and human rights were under attack. Americans never knew how good Jimmy Carter was and how inspiring he was to America's friends and allies who admired the USA.

If Obama and his administration were corrupt, as you purport, where’re the indictments and convictions? Nearly 4 years later and nothing. Bupkis.

The only folks indicted and convicted over the last almost 4 years have all been Trump associates.

The facts are clear. You’re the one living in a fantasy world.

As for Clinton, I have always been clear about my disdain for her. So don’t waste your time trying get a reaction from me over anything she’s said/done.

I will make one point about the ‘16 election, fully supported by verifiable facts; Clinton and Trump were the two most unpopular candidates for president in the history of polling. What that means is that had either party put up a different candidate, that party almost certainly would’ve won. Think about that before bragging on Trump’s EC win.

There is more to ethical government that money. There is concern for human life and dignity.
Carter did not cause the oil crisis and he was ahead of his time in warning of the need to secure responsible energy programs. Remember, it was the oil-producing countries such as Saudi Arabia in OPEC which put up the cost of oil and the American oil corporation of Hess shutting down that caused the double digit inflation. None of this can be attributed to Jimmy Carter.

Jimmy Carter did not fail with Iran. The Iranian's had a revolution and they targeted the U.S. embassy taking hostages. The military mission to rescue the hostages did fail and as commander-in-chief he took responsibility because he is a moral man. It should be noted that all the hostages were returned home but not until Ronald Reagan was sworn in. By doing this, the Iranians knew Jimmy Carter would be blamed by many of the American public. The Iranians were wrong to do this but correct in their estimation of how Americans turn on their leaders. It is an unwarranted slur to say that Jimmy Carter was antisemitic.

The issue isn't the "surveillance state". Oh...it's a problem that our government is collecting so much data on citizens, but the issue here is how corrupt government officials illegally used that database...specifically, the corrupt Obama administration. And they did it from at least 2012 on.
