I can't ever remember the media suggesting that a candidate shouldn't take part in presidential debates, or that there shouldn't be any presidential debates at all, but it seems that time has come.

I predicted months ago that there we be some sort of push by the Biden campaign, the media, or both, to suggest that Trump/Biden debates might not be such a good idea, and it appears we are starting to see just that. One New York Times columnist has even suggested scrapping presidential debates all together.

It's obvious that the closer we come to Biden having to take the stage against Trump, the more Biden supporters and his campaign staff (aka the mainstream news media) are fearing that a pending disaster might be on the horizon.

Commentary and opinion Pieces and one talking about how some supporters tell him not to.

He will debate him.

So don’t freak out.

funny, you Trump supporters were ALL SUPPORTING TRUMP when he said he wasn't going to debate in the primaries in 2016. What changed? And Grim, no one and I mean NO ONE believes you aren't a trump supporter so STOP LYING.

Biden's campaign has already agreed to the 3 debates, so he won't walk them back.

Though I suppose we could rephrase this question into "When have we ever had such an absolute trash fire of a President that a debate is not needed?".

lol

Oh, they're just trying to spin a propaganda narrative. Which is nothing new. Biden agreed to the 3 debates, those will happen.

They can play the "not under these rules" game to get out of them if the want. What this boils down to is they are afraid Biden will have on of his major gaffs live with millions watching.

Oh, Biden will certainly gaff and gaff hard during the debates. The "problem" is that Trump gaff's harder....and lies......like all the time.

Trump just rambles nonsense about how wonderful he is. Everybody is used to that. Vice-President Little Kids Liked to Play With My Hairy Legs is a whole other level of gaffery.

He also claims things like his dad is from Germany and hydroxychloroquine is a cure to Covid....**** like that.

As I have posted many times, hydroxychloroquine was part of my hospitals treatment, along with the azithromycin. These are what the POTUS recently indicated he is being given along with zinc, though I could not imagine they have him on zpacks for 5 months still.

Trump also has major problems with the Manhattan District Attorney getting his taxes soon to pursue bank fraud charges. Biden should ring that bell plenty and often. Why are you being investigated for bank fraud by the District Attorney of Manhattan Mr. President, you know, ask stuff like that.

1. I did not support Trump in 2016, so nothing changed. Link
2. I already declared a few months ago, that based on his performance since being elected, I was voting for Trump in 2020.
3. My post isn't about the primary debates.
4. I have lied about nothing.
5. It would be nice if you actually commented on the topic instead of being a typical leftist.

Who the hell cares either way? The president decided to ignore the pandemic because he thought it would only affect blue states. The result is 159,000 dead and a cratered economy. How is a debate supposed to change that?

Trump stated he only took the combo for two weeks. He's been off it for some time now. I wonder why he even went there if he was never positive. Just another typical Trump stunt that went nowhere.

You should have Biden debate him on that and tell him to say that exact thing. See what Trump does to him.

So he took the drug and never got covid? Is that correct?

I don't know he never got Covid. Trump is an habitual liar. He would do everything he could to not let it out that he got Covid. To Trump, getting Covid is a sign of weakness. I don't even know if he actually took the drugs. Where's the proof? Not that it matters, but everything he says and does is a complete mystery.

Where is our big and beautiful health care plan he PROMISED he would sign into law by last Sunday?

Alright then. So we went from Trump is dumb for taking the drug to we dont know if he took it or if he ever had covid. lol

Pretty typical. The left doesn't have a candidate. They have a cadaver. We need proof of life and something that differentiates that life from, say, that of an amoeba.

let's just call hairy legs vs. grab ***** a wash. Next!

In this upcoming election, I doubt debates will change any voters minds. But, for we Biden supporters, another trump team lie would be exposed, Biden will demonstrate that he is mentally sound.

I also believe the trump campaign is secretly afraid that trump in debates; will once again repeat his 2016 performance and display his psychological disorders and stalk around the stage, looking like a darranged serial killer.

donald will once again attack the moderators, tell him or her, that's a stupid questions, you are a disgrace and then never answer question. Then donald will as usual lie, lie, lie and millions of Americans will in real time see trump fact checked.

actually biden is also a grab ***** guy

actually trump is a rapist of under age high school girls supplied by his former good buddy epstein

but, I believe the crux of the op was gaff statements
