Do we ALL AGREE that this Biden's VP selection is an "affirmative action" choice?

How is most qualified defined?
Most qualified by whom? Obviously to the Pres candidate as he/she makes the pick.

Why can't it be "Here's a list of qualified people who happen to be WOC"? This is the same assumption Bullseye is running under, which is utter ****. If Biden is saying, I want a VP who is a WOC, he's not saying that WOC is the only criteria. But that out of the qualified candidates, he's going to choose a WOC. For there certainly exists a subset within the larger group of qualified candidates whom happen to be WOC.

Y'all really seem to have something against minorities.

I can actually buy that. I read about him because Reagan's favorite President was Coolidge and I read quite a bit of his Administration.

The point, however, is that we don't remember all our VP's. Hell, we don't remember all our P's. Cheney did a lot to reform the position, but mostly it's cast the tie breaking vote in the Senate and sit around waiting for the President to die. And in that regard, there's a **** ton of people who can do that job. So if Biden wants to take the list of qualified jerks and only consider WOC out of it, then so be it.
 
There is nothing wrong with Biden choosing a black woman. Locking himself to only picking a female candidate is negligent. What if a male candidate came along who would have been a much better pick? Does Biden change his mind and piss off the far left nuts? Does he pass on somebody who would be better for this country?

Just pick the best candidate for god sake! No matter who he picks now people will wonder if she really is the best he could have chosen or was he forced into picking her?

Who cares? It's not like either Biden or Trump is even remotely close to being the most qualified person to be President. Is Biden even more qualified than Tulsi Gabbard? Is Trump even more qualified than anyone?

Though it doesn't mean they aren't qualified, in fact some are very qualified.

I'm going to let him do it if he gets his way. I'm not going to like how the position is being treated, but it's not like I can actually do anything about it short of voting.

I just think Biden should pick the person most qualified and not someone who he believes will buy him brownie points with the progressives.

"Most qualified" is very subjective and a matter of political choice.

Biden invited this problem himself declaring he would pick a woman without having any idea who that was. It 1) does look like he is pandering and 2) takes away from the excitement when he does announce a woman. Whoever it is will be "as expected" as opposed to HOLY ****!!!!
