Do we ALL AGREE that this Biden's VP selection is an "affirmative action" choice?

"Impossible"? Not at all. In 2020 the most qualified candidate is not a black woman. This reality is not because of prejudice.

And even if a black woman were the most qualified ... we wouldn't know!!! Because pandering Joe Biden said that he was picking a woman of color before the evaluating process had even started!!!

The current President allowed the pandemic to kill 159,000 people and crater the economy, all because he assumed it would only affect blue states. You can handle a black woman for VP or President.

Whether we live or not is irrelevant in the pick of VP. This choice is about pure politics and Biden trying to do anything to get the nomination and the victory. The VP should be about ability to take over as President if the need arises. This pick is not about that. I'm not high on any of the choices reported to be in the running but I wasn't high on any of the candidates in the democrat field. The makeup of sex or color of who has been Pres. or VP is less important than being qualified but this year Biden has made it about gender and race souly for votes and not for qualifications.

We don't know that a Black Woman isn't the most qualified because we haven't looked at them for any qualifications other than skin color and gender. We also don't know that they are qualified for the same reason. If Biden hadn't tainted the pick by announcing he would chose a woman and then indications been made that a woman of color must be the choice, he could have vetted numerous men, women, all colors and all sexes or sexual persuasions but he didn't do that he muddied the water and his pick will be stained because of it.
It's ok with me what ever Joe does, he will never be my President and whoever he chooses will never be my VP.

I don't. That was my point. The most qualified CANDIDATE should be selected, regardless of color or gender. And if that happens to be a white male - so be it.

I'm a white male. There have been thousands of white male politicians that truly "Suck the big one" I wouldn't hire some of them to take out the garbage. In short: Whomever Joe picks will have a rough time doing any worse than what we've had to put up with in the past.
