Far from showing that he understand the depths of the calamity and has a plan to address it, Trump spent the weekend spreading lies and disinformation in between two trips to his golf course in Virginia, again underscoring how he has declined to adopt the leadership role that would have been expected from a traditional president during a grave national crisis.

He again falsely claimed that the only reason there are more cases of the virus is because the US is doing new testing. He gloated about "Big China Virus breakouts" in nations where reopenings have caused viral spikes and where leaders did a better job in quelling the virus than he did in the United States. Trump also claimed falsely that the media was not reporting on such hotspots around the world.

Trump is not God. The states are sovereign. The re-occurrence is because states locked down and didn't allow people to be exposed. Trump is not a dictator.

Humans are still living like we did centuries ago where we looked to a tribal leader as they were Gods and couldn't do anything without his oracles.

The virus doesn't care about states, this is a COUNTRY WIDE (really World Wide) ISSUE. We need leadership in the White House and instead we have a drooling man-child Trump and his merry band of retarded followers.

The only "plan" is to get Trump voted out, so the media can bury the pandemic on page 10 and call it a miracle that Biden "stopped the pandemic".

Trump does have a plan. He knows how stupid it is to shut down the economy and throw us into a Great Depression so we stay open the best we can while working on treatments and vaccines. Governors are free to make their own plans but even liberal California has realized you can't lock down. That's why their cases continue to increase at an alarming rate. They have the very same plan Trump does. By the way, Biden doesn't have a plan either, other than what he would do in regards to future pandemics.
