Jim Jorday is an A-Hole

Hahaha. He is kind of a dick but in a good way. He uses those things that liberals hate the most - facts.

Jim Jordan is an A-Hole that has no respect for anyone and argues inarguable points and comes up with statements that are demeaning without addressing the topic discussed.

Here is a video of what happened between Jordan and Fauci today in the Congressional meeting where Fauci was being asked questions.

By the way, even die hard Republicans have problems with Jordan.

Why do we elect (and re-elect) idiots like this that offer nothing but fights and strife and offer nothing of value?

And don't think for a minute that Jordan and Trump did not discuss his attack before hand. That whole spiel was planned out to knock down Fauci's approval rating.

You know Trump can't stand anyone that is smarter than him

Democrats haven't got good sense. They lie, are habitually rude and make up facts to suit their communist agenda.

If true, what does this have to do the fact that Jim Jordon is both an asshole and stupid?

LOL. You didn't pay attention to how Barr was treated by democrats two days ago did you.
You didn't pay attention to how Maxine Waters treated drs on the committee this morning did you, talking over the top of them when their answers didn't fit her program.
Jordan didn't do a darn thing the democrats haven't been doing.

I listened in my car and I don't recall Jordan screaming "RECLAIMING MY TIME RECLAIMING MY TIME RECLAIMING MY TIME", nor did Jorden snipe "I'll take that as a yes/no".

He did come off as a bit of an ass, didn't he? Dr. Fauci seemed quite reasonable. I sort of got Jim's point, but for some reason he kept pressing Fauci for some kind of irrelevant political answer, he kept bringing up the Democrats and incidents of police arrests, which really had nothing to do with Fauci at all.

I know his district. Trust me. He represents those people well.

Hint: he pulled in 65% of the vote after being outed as Ohio's Joe Paterno.

In a scale of partisan bull**** depth, Schiff and Nader are far deeper and smellier.
You’re way off, pappy.

“Jordan has repeatedly denied any part in the scandal, but in his testimony Tuesday, Adam DiSabato claimed the congressman called him personally on July 4 to get him to rebuke his brother's claims.

Jim Jordan called me crying, crying, groveling!...Begging me to go against my brother!" DiSabato told the assembled lawmakers. "Begging me! Crying for a half hour! That's the kind of cover-up that's going on there."

3News reached out to Jordan's congressional office for comment, and his communications director Ian Fury responded, "Congressman Jordan never saw or heard of any abuse, and if he had he would have dealt with it." DiSabato called Jordan a "coward" for his repeated denials.

"He's not a leader; he's a coward," DiSabato said. "I was a captain...I would never abandon my team. He abandoned us...If I ever see him, he better not come around me."

Yeah, I am one distict over, that place is a wasteland.

I'm trying to figure out what the argument is, against Dr. Fauci or any other leading doctor or scientist, to declare protests and riots to be very dangerous during the covid pandemic. If 50 people in a mega church pose a risk, and you absolutely can't sing in church, how can leaders allow tens of thousands to protest in the streets for months on end?
The Left fully gets their own hypocrisy, but the narrative and optics are too important in an election year, and they will pretend they don't understand or repeat their lies over and over in the hopes we all just either capitulate, or give up.
Thank God we have some Republicans left who will stand up to the Democrats and their b.s.

Cue the orange-man-bad crowd to pivot to ad homs and scandals to deflect.

Can they defend Fauci's refusal to call a spade a spade? Or massive spreading events such as protests anything other than a "crowd"?
C'mon Fauci, just say it!

Except that Jordan was not even addressing the issue. Fauci was talking about how to keep the virus down from spreading and Jordan was talking about things that Fauci has no control over or even can opine. With Barr, the people grilling him were talking specifically about what Barr has done and his capacity to do them or prevent them. Big difference.

Please don't call republicans scummy when you have the group of Nadler, Schiff, Pelosi, Schumer, AOC, Omar, and so so many more in your house.

Just by your statement, I will make sure NEVER to consider moving there. I would be fighting every day of my life if I lived there.

Facts? Yeah, maybe for those who go to Foot Locker instead of a podiatrist to treat Plantar fasciitis.

Stop be so sensitive and pay better attention. I didn’t refer to all Republicans. I referred to a scumbag who happens to be a Trump Republican.

You must be ignoring Mr Person's post:

Fauci did not address COVID and the protests, you say?

Jun 5, 2020 article notes:

"Every time I hear about or see the congregation of large crowds at a time and geographic area where there is active infection transmission, it is a perfect set-up for the spread of the virus in the sense of creating these blips that might turn into some surges," Fauci said. "So I get very concerned." Fauci emphasized that while demonstrators have both a constitutional right and a good reason to protest, he noted that people gathering in close proximity, shouting and chanting, and possibly being exposed to tear gas or pepper spray – crowd-controlling irritants that make people cough, sneeze, and rub their eyes — increases the risk of transmitting the virus.

"There certainly is a risk, I would say that with confidence, when you see the congregation of crowds," he said, "particularly in a situation where you have a lot of confusion and a little bit of chaos, people running back and forth, taking their masks off, being close in proximity, that does pose a risk." . . . "It is a difficult situation," Fauci said. "We have the right to peaceably demonstrate, and the demonstrators are exercising that right...it's important to exercise your constitutional rights to be able to demonstrate, but it's a delicate balance, because the reasons for demonstrating are valid. And yet, the demonstration itself puts one at an additional risk."

Dr. Fauci: Protests are '''a perfect set-up''' for spreading COVID-19 - Business Insider

June 10, 2020 article notes:

Although many protesters have been wearing masks and distributing hand sanitizer, it's virtually impossible to maintain any social distancing at a mass protest. That issue of physical separation "is important," according to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a key member of the White House coronavirus task force. "Masks can help, but it's masks plus physical separation," Fauci said in an interview on "Good Morning America" Wednesday. "When you get congregations like we saw with the demonstrations," he continued, "that's taking a risk."

Recent protests across the U.S. over the death of George Floyd could lead to new surges in coronavirus cases, Dr. Anthony Fauci warned Friday.

"It is the perfect set-up for the spread of the virus in the sense of creating some blips which might turn into some surges,” Fauci, a member of President Trump's Coronavirus Task Force, told radio station WTOP-FM in Washington, D.C

Well, Trumpist, why did you lie again?

Politicians are openly fine with protesting for BLM. It's a political decision not a health issue. Fauci can't answer due to the political chaos he will set off.

Let me say something you evidently disagree with but needs to be said.

Schiff and Pelosi art top-notch people in my book.

Schumer is a level below top notch but a positive.

Nadler, AOC and Omar are okay in my book as at least they care about the people they represent. They are not top notch, but a plus (rather than a minus) in my book.

Evidently, you do not know how to evaluate people correctly or even listen to others show you, so I will not say more because anything and everything I say will meet your limited mental brick wall and not get through. You are not interested in truth but simply in "pushing your agenda"

how does that have anything to do with the OP? Jordan bullied Fauci on a topic Fauci could not opine on. He used Fauci to promote his views instead of asking Fauci questions about what causes the spread of the virus and what every person can do to prevent it happening to them.

This meeting was about health issues and not about political ones like BLM.

I enjoyed Jordan's questioning of Fauci. The questions he asked are the same millions of Americans are asking.

1. Why am I not allowed to attend a house of prayer, open my business, take my kids to the park, send my kids to school but protests/riots are allowed to continue every night during the virus pandemic?
2. Why are we not allowed to have funerals? But if your name is Floyd or Lewis you get a parade of services across the country well attended.

People are forking sick of the double standards. People are fed up.
If government is going to continue to trample 1st Amendment rights of just some and not others in the name of safety, things are about to get ugly. If you to this point think things are already ugly, you have not seen anything yet.

Jordans old reeking schtick is almost always the same. He get a brain fart in his head and thinks he is the smartest boy in class because he thinks he can trap an unsuspecting witness with his questions based on false or untrue premises. That is the crap he tried to pull with Dr. Fauci and Fauci was at least two steps ahead of him. But Jordan is so in another world that he hangs on like a puppy dog who has your cuff. It's pitiful.

Maybe somebody can explain why his fellow GOP House members try to get Jordan in an up front position on every important committee that has public hearings in Congress when he fools nobody and makes a complete and utter fool of himself?

What's wrong with pointing out inconsistency and hypocrisy, and asking tough questions of a public official who has had a hand in formulating our policies (which are being implemented in an inconsistent way)?

To be fair, there is ABSOLUTELY crossover between health issues and political protests...and church.

I understand that Fauci tries to be the guy that only speaks to the science of the virus but the issue is FAR more broad than just the science. Fauci has acknowledged that fact before and it would be good to hear him do so with regularity.

No, first of all Fauci has not been inconsistent. He has moved according to how the virus progressed. In addition, one problem he had from the very beginning is that he could not afford to say anything that would anger Trump or he would be fired. As such, he always had to be careful in his statements. Second of all, he has not had a hand in formulating any policies other than health related ones. His job is to prevent virus deaths and anything he has opined on has had that as the main topic.

You are 100% wrong and next time you try to promote this kind of BS, you better be able to prove it.

Yes, Jim Jordan is an A-hole, like a little spunky Chihuahua just nipping at people's heels. He was a jerk during the Impeachment hearings too, it's in his blood. Being a fast talker does not make you intelligent, sane or effective...he should have learned that by now, but he is a Trump Party repug, so you can't expect much.
