Jim Jordan is an A-Hole that has no respect for anyone and argues inarguable points and comes up with statements that are demeaning without addressing the topic discussed.

Here is a video of what happened between Jordan and Fauci today in the Congressional meeting where Fauci was being asked questions.

By the way, even die hard Republicans have problems with Jordan.

In an interview after retiring, Boehner called Jordan a "legislative terrorist" and an "asshole."

In an earlier era, a figure like Jordan who constantly picked fights with his own party's leadership would have faced serious repercussions. Banishment to the most insignificant and unpleasant committees, an inability to get things done for his home district, perhaps even a primary challenge.

But in an era with a proliferation of conservative media — talk radio, cable news, and digital outlets — someone like Jordan could instead become a star by picking the same fights. Conservative media is a business and the best radio and television comes from black and white content — strongly voiced opinions, clear convictions, exhortations to principles, things that stir emotion and keep the audience tuned in. That meant that someone like Jordan preached what viewers and listeners — the Republican base — heard every day.

Why do we elect (and re-elect) idiots like this that offer nothing but fights and strife and offer nothing of value?

Jordan is an asshole. Even when I was a Republican, and therefore stupid, I couldn't stand the guy.

Him ignoring the sexual abuse of young men should have resulted in the end of his career, but in the party of Trump, that makes him a hero.

That does not speak well of those that are voting. The guy is a real A-Hole.

Jordan is a clinical psychopath, representing the psychopaths in our country. Hey, it’s a democracy, and everyone deserves representation, right?

Jordan was making a point about common recommendations to social distance and avoid large gatherings. The clear implication was that nobody, including Fauci who has been the media point man, suggested addressing the issue of protests while at the same time the Supreme Court determined that church gatherings were subject to restrictions.

If the first Amendment is a valid protection for one group then it should ABSOLUTELY be a valid protection for other groups.

Granted, this isn't really an issue Fauci could take ACTIVE steps to address but it is certainly an issue he could take up in his recommendations.

I'll note one other thing about Jordan, while he was definitely engaging in some grandstanding here he also allowed Fauci to respond. That's more than can be said for EVERY Democrat that engaged Barr the other day.

One thing I've notice a lot here on DP is when extremists want to spout off with their emotions they often can't even spell correctly in the thread subject title because they are so obsessed they can't even see what they are typing.

Especially when playing in a field where Trump sets the rules. In that field, Jordan is considered one of the generals.

Wow, you have become a top notch psychologist as good as Trump becoming an expert on pandemics. You never stop surprising me. I am in awe of your capabilities to deduce the reason behind a typo. Have you thought of changing careers and becoming a psychiatrist? You are really great at it. There is nothing Moderate in your ability.

Sorry Luther, but your assessment does not change the fact that Jordan always smells like ****. Unfortunately, that smells rubs off on those that support him and that means you.

This caricature comes to mind when reading your post.

I don't have anywhere near that much hair.

Well, yeah he is. Not going to be on the news, though.

Fauci did not address COVID and the protests, you say?

Jun 5, 2020 article notes:

"Every time I hear about or see the congregation of large crowds at a time and geographic area where there is active infection transmission, it is a perfect set-up for the spread of the virus in the sense of creating these blips that might turn into some surges," Fauci said. "So I get very concerned." Fauci emphasized that while demonstrators have both a constitutional right and a good reason to protest, he noted that people gathering in close proximity, shouting and chanting, and possibly being exposed to tear gas or pepper spray – crowd-controlling irritants that make people cough, sneeze, and rub their eyes — increases the risk of transmitting the virus.

"There certainly is a risk, I would say that with confidence, when you see the congregation of crowds," he said, "particularly in a situation where you have a lot of confusion and a little bit of chaos, people running back and forth, taking their masks off, being close in proximity, that does pose a risk." . . . "It is a difficult situation," Fauci said. "We have the right to peaceably demonstrate, and the demonstrators are exercising that right...it's important to exercise your constitutional rights to be able to demonstrate, but it's a delicate balance, because the reasons for demonstrating are valid. And yet, the demonstration itself puts one at an additional risk."

Dr. Fauci: Protests are '''a perfect set-up''' for spreading COVID-19 - Business Insider

June 10, 2020 article notes:

Although many protesters have been wearing masks and distributing hand sanitizer, it's virtually impossible to maintain any social distancing at a mass protest. That issue of physical separation "is important," according to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a key member of the White House coronavirus task force. "Masks can help, but it's masks plus physical separation," Fauci said in an interview on "Good Morning America" Wednesday. "When you get congregations like we saw with the demonstrations," he continued, "that's taking a risk."

Recent protests across the U.S. over the death of George Floyd could lead to new surges in coronavirus cases, Dr. Anthony Fauci warned Friday.

"It is the perfect set-up for the spread of the virus in the sense of creating some blips which might turn into some surges,” Fauci, a member of President Trump's Coronavirus Task Force, told radio station WTOP-FM in Washington, D.C

Not only is he an asshole but he is stupid, which seems to be an in vogue personality type with conservatives lately.

He's a pedophile enabler.

The reason the Left is so pissed at Jordan is that he clearly made is point, while allowing Fauci to answer and not once did he invoke "RECLAIMING MY TIME" as the Democrats did throughout their embarrassing debacle of the Barr hearing.
Jordan allowed Fauci to answer and pressed quite vociferously about why Fauci refuses to address the protests and riots and call them out for the dangerous mass gatherings which they have been. Fauci does not set mandates, nor is he an elected leader. He is, however, our nation's current leading authority on covid and its spread and as part of the face of public heath, Fauci has been entirely too silent.
We all know why Fauci has refused to speak up and while the Left sets their hair on fire when someone refuses to wear a mask, they seem quite blissful in their ignorance of massive crowds gathering to protest and riot.
Jordan asked the questions that needed to be asked and not because he was going to get a straight answer, because Fauci will never admit he is afraid of cancel culture and being called a racist; Jordan asked because we ALL know the answer.
He just said it out loud.

LOL. You didn't pay attention to how Barr was treated by democrats two days ago did you.
You didn't pay attention to how Maxine Waters treated drs on the committee this morning did you, talking over the top of them when their answers didn't fit her program.
Jordan didn't do a darn thing the democrats haven't been doing.

Democrats haven't got good sense. They lie, are habitually rude and make up facts to suit their communist agenda.
