If teachers unions dont want teachers to return to school do this

What political demands are teachers making that you take issue with?
Why is it that anytime anyone posts a thread that exposes the left and some of their insane ideas, left wing posters here ALWAYS pretend they dont know anything about it.

Is it because they get their news from the MSM, or more rightly the MSM doesnt report really dumb moves from the left?

I don't dream about education or teachers so you must just be projecting.

WE in this country have lost 2 generations of children to this movement you hold so dear. Those quotes show how important public schools were to control the process.

You have dreams and aspirations of a right wing America and getting rid of public education is a plank in that perverted and twisted platform.

Many other workers in 'essential' jobs (e.g. grocery store and police) are also concerned about their (personal) workplace safety during the pandemic, yet they are unable to demand (and get) full pay if they do not choose to continue to work (they must keep working in order to get paid).

Since many of them are suffereing form the virus, they obviously need a union to protect them.

Beyond that, stores have regulations that limit the number of customers in the store at a time, customers have to social distance and wear masks. They can be ejected if they don't follow the regulations..

I don't see these rules in palce for schools, and if they were, it would be a nightmare getting students to follow them.

Why can't you answer a simple question instead of attacking and deflection?

actually Americas public schools are largely responsible for having an educated population.

Or not educated! Look at all the "man on the street" interviews, young people seem to know very little, as compared to a person that went to school in the 50s and before.

I asked which ones you had issues with and why since you didn't exactly spell out your vague OP.

But I'm sure some random retired guy in Nebraska has a lot to complain about a couple teacher's unions in a couple cities in states nowhere near us.

I taught for over 33 years in the public schools. I could get an entire class to know the ins and outs of how the Electoral College functioned and at units end they could pass a difficult test. Two months later was an entirely different story as they junked my EC lesson in favor of what they needed to pass that week.

Tell us oh great pedagogue - how do you get past that?

Destroying government schools would be a great first step to getting millions of children out of poverty
We have had government schools forever. According to your logic, there should be no poverty at all!

So this is just another far right wing wet dream that denies the reality of what teachers really do in public education and has at its goal the weakening or outright destruction of institutions that are not far right wing.

Those indoctrinated wet dreams are out on the streets of Portland and Seattle destroying property every night now for about 2 months.

Explain that.

Interesting that you would let a few people establish a pattern for 330 million.

Other factors contribute to poverty. Can you name a wealthy nation that does not offer public education?

The students in nations like Finland and Cuba, who only have public schools, consistently score higher on tests than students from countries that don't. A country like Chile, that have no public schools and the government issues vouchers for students to attend private schools, find themselves in a stratified system where the wealthy kids go to the best schools, but their cost is out of reach for families dependent on vouchers. Private schools available to them are not necessarily accountable for their quality of education.

Alpha Cons are too weak and powerless to stop those dumb evil Libs.

Did you teach your students about how the Revolutionary War soldiers took back control of our airports?

You are oblivious of your chosen ideology. Those are the quotes of your heroes.

My post, which you failed to address in your response to it, is in response to those quotes.

It really doesn’t matter if the demand is met, the fact there’s a union of public employees being funded by taxpayers making policy demands far outside their lane is bad enough all on its own

Truth be told though I think government schools are child abuse, in some cases literally as the rate of sex abuse is 100 times higher then Catholic clergy and is actually actively covered up, but also through deficient education.

I actually don’t care if teachers never come back to work, ever
More lies, exaggeration, generalizations without evidence.

Obviously you failed to listen to your teachers.

I am a teacher. Your disrespect and ignorance of the teaching profession is inexcusable.

The work done for children and their families is amazing. Public schools are so much more than what right wing propaganda tells you.

The laziness of your post is pathetic.

That some sort of ANTIFA smack you're talking, tough guy?

Sorry the truth hurts. Perhaps if you weren't so weak and powerless to stop those pajama boy Libs from taking over everything, you wouldn't have to whine and bitch all the time.
